First of all, sending unsubstantiated propaganda to soldiers in a war zone does not equate to "getting the facts out". It does not qualify for protection under the constitution, because of the nature of the law with which servicemen must operate. A soldier does not have the same rights as us as far as determining what the "truth" is when given several opposing viewpoints. They have their orders...PERIOD. Suggesting to soldiers that they should ignore their orders during war time is treason.
In addition, this host is not calling for any murder. US code Title 18, chapter 115 (Treason, Sedition, and subversive activities) paragraph 2381 to paragraph 2390, provides for several instances where these "letter writers" may be in violation of US loyalty laws. He is simply suggesting that the penalty for these crimes be elevated to execution. I happen to agree with him. We have enough to worry about with enemies OUTSIDE the US, we should not have to worry about the ones INSIDE.
In fact one of the penalties for treason under paragraph 2381 IS death. So the only question that remains is whether this "letter writing" actually qualifies as treason. Clearly a Federal prosecutor has several options under chapter 115, not to mention other laws which may pertain to the attempt to subvert US soldiers. The minimum penalty would likely be at least 10 years in prison and the inability to EVER hold public office in the US.

I know they can because of the radiation experiments it conducted on military personnel in the 50' and 60's. My mother-in-law was exposed, a navy nurse, died from it's effects about 10 years ago.

First of all, sending unsubstantiated propaganda to soldiers in a war zone does not equate to "getting the facts out". It does not qualify for protection under the constitution, because of the nature of the law with which servicemen must operate. A soldier does not have the same rights as us as far as determining what the "truth" is when given several opposing viewpoints. They have their orders...PERIOD. Suggesting to soldiers that they should ignore their orders during war time is treason.

US code Title 18, chapter 115 (Treason, Sedition, and subversive activities) paragraph 2381 to paragraph 2390, provides for several instances where these "letter writers" may be in violation of US loyalty laws. He is simply suggesting that the penalty for these crimes be elevated to execution. I happen to agree with him. We have enough to worry about with enemies OUTSIDE the US, we should not have to worry about the ones INSIDE.

In fact one of the penalties for treason under paragraph 2381 IS death. So the only question that remains is whether this "letter writing" actually qualifies as treason. Clearly a Federal prosecutor has several options under chapter 115, not to mention other laws which may pertain to the attempt to subvert US soldiers. The minimum penalty would likely be at least 10 years in prison and the inability to EVER hold public office in the US.

I don't understand how you think he's doing such a great job. He's not doing anything different from what Bush had done for the last 8 years, in fact he's strengthening many aspects of the Bush administrations policies. Do a search for 'Obama faith initiative.' What he wants to do with religion in this country is tri-fold what Bush's plans were. Anyway, do that search then get back to me!

i do My research when i watch the Nightly News ,n im very pleased w/how this Countrys going now.Were focussing on Afganistan as we should have been,planning to withdrawl from Iraq.Theres a better feel in the Country hope wise.The Whole World is inspired by us now,rather than Hating us.And We have an intelligent Pres,rather than a War Mongaring,devisive creep.

I think you need to do a little more research than Nightly News on cable. Again, I would start with doing a search for Obama Faith based initiative. You will find out how much he wants to intensify what Bush started.

Well that's not necessarily good research then! I've done my research too and I can tell you what I feel in my heart as well. Putting yourself in the left/right paradigm is dangerous and saying that Democrats are for good and Republicans are for evil is only you kidding yourself. Politicians will only tell you what you want to hear. Obama is no different. He is not for change, he is for more of the same. Do me a favor, do that search I mentioned! Please!

Really, I do know a lot. I do. And Really, I am informed. I keep myself informed. I don't believe that Obama is going to change anything. There's nothing that he has done as President so far that I can say is anything short of what Bush did before him. Really, I think it's a big waste of time to get out and vote anymore. Those who I have voted for have done nothing to make this country a better place to live, so it's not even worth it. If you knew anything, you would do the same.
