  • From the music one wouldn't know that this is a comedy....

The reason this film works so well, is that the monsters all played their roles straight, and that they got both Bela and Lon reprising their old roles.

    At least that's my opinion....

  • This is my favorite A&C movie. When my sisters were little, every time we wanted to scare them, we would do this music...Duh, duh DUH DUH!!!!!

  • That is incredible. Any Abbott and Costello fan can just picture in your mind the movie as the music played on. Thank you so much for keeping Abbott and Costello alive as in my opinion they were probably one of the finest comedy teams to ever perform this was was their greatest movie to me. Thank you so much

  • As a dyed-in-the-werewolf A&C MEET FRANKENSTEIN fan...as well as a fan of the old horror film music, this was fantastic! I wish they Stromberg would do a CD of this wonderful score. Hope somebody will do it. WOW! As my favorite Chinese detective would say, "Thank you so much!" What a fantastic surprise.

  • @ericlh ..... I find myself often quoting Mr Chan useing the same phrase.

  • Can I give this 20 gold stars???

  • Is there any chance of this wonderful score by Frank Skinner ever being recorded onto a cd in the near future?

  • @TheStanbabe it's beautiful, funny, & great to listen to. it would be great to release it on CD.

  • I LOVE THIS!

  • This A&C sounds so similar to Frank Skinner's music for Who Done it???

  • Just wonderful!! What was the event that found this piece of music played? What venue?

  • FANTASTIC! This film's score needs a CD release, as well as "Hold that Ghost!" and "A&C meet Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde". Wonderful music. Thanks so much for uploading this gem.

  • Skinner also did the remarkable score for Son of Frankenstein, which along with his (and Hans Salter's) Invisible Man Returns and The Wolf Man, provided the soundtrack for the rest of the Universal Frankenstein/Dracula/Mummy/Wolf Man series. An unsung genius of film composers!

  • This score is my holy grail.

  • wonderful and glorious.

  • where did you get this video?

  • fantastic soundtrack to a fantastic film the best abbott and costellou theme tune!

  • When is the C.D. EVER going to be released?

  • Excellent!

  • No music in horror films will ever surpass th scores from Universal.

  • Beautiful! I'm sure that Frankie Skinner,Bud and Lou

would have approved of this brilliant recreation of this classic film score.

  • Thank you for posting this incredable work. A tribute to Frank Skinner's great music from a classic.

  • WOW!!!!!!!!! This needs to be released to CD -- just fantastic. Many thanks!

  • Fantastic !! Can't wait to hear the castle-basement music or the music in the wax museum....BRING IT ON !!!!

  • Good lord! BILL! Wonderful! And it only took 10 years!!! Spot on, wonderful!!!

  • Wonderful Frank Skinner score, lovingly condensed and conducted. Did as much for this unforgettable film as Max Steiner did for King Kong.

Don't know that this score has ever before been publicly conducted or recorded and released on LP or CD. Bravo.
