ok,ok.. 1st off fcuk tanner he's a crowd trophy..but the sti is driven by stephan verdier and its not the transfer case ive met him like 3x and its welded diff and frnt drive shafts are taken out... he use to do rally,time attack and drift.. but he's now focused on just driftin as in 09' this paint scheme is 07's.. his is now blk n orange with crawfors performance decals on it... n he's way better now too!!!... FLAT4 all the way!

I've had a 2004 STi for just 4 months and I've babied it, but it can drift very well. If you compromise the surface, rain/snow, its even more apparent.

AWD drifts for sure if you're any kind of decent driver, I think RWD is what they convert to because it makes a better show. Crazier angles, more smoke. Thats what the people want.

There are more STi than Evo because people want them. If people trusted Mitsu more, there would be more Evos. Supply and demand.

Well the WRX has a glass transmission, and the people that drive them know that. I own an 05 WRX and yeah I have to agree. I've never had a problem with it, but i know if I wanna try burning all four tires to show off that i'm risking it hehe. The WRX/STI on the other hand has a solid transmission and it's down for some punishment. Top Gear pitted the evo and WRX together and the evo turned out to be faster. WRX had too much understeer.

yeah agreed. but the so called "glass" transmission is more so referred to the 02 subaru.. the other wrx transmissions are still considered to be glass but not so much as the 02... i own an 05 as well, and it can take a bit of a beating just no more than 300bhp haha... the sti 6spd tho is bullet proof. can take a butt whooping!

No they aren't. In a 4WD system, all 4 wheel are under constant power together. With AWD, each axle can be controlled individually and they can even control each tire indivually.

actually this car is RWD....its is simple. By disconnecting the front differentials and running a straight drivetrain to the rear diffrerential is how this is done. Me and my friends did this to his EVO VIII
