Ah my brother was at Norwich starting in 2007 in the Echo Company. He transferred out like 2 years ago. Norwich's Drill Team was pretty awesome - saw them at a football game on Parent's Weekend during my brother's second year.
I think drill is really dumb. I mean, honestly, what good is being able to spin, or throw a rifle. The rifle is meant to be shot, not thrown like a baton. Basically, a drill team is a bunch of majorettes.....without skirts. But i'm sure maybe norwich might provide skirts. I'm not sure....
Alright. With that logic I could also say that throwing around a football and hitting each other is dumb, swing a stick and hitting a ball is dumb, running around a field is dumb, throwing balls into a basket is dumb, and none of it serves a purpose. People do stuff for fun. This is fun. That isn't going to change because one person makes stupid comments.
Very, very well done. Are those Springfields? Also, are females allowed on your armed exhibition team (or your drill team at all) or is it an all male team?
I realy hope that when I get out of JROTC I can join an unarmed exhibition team in college.
How large is your entire drill team and how often do you practice?

Though, I have seen a few rare videos of college level unarmed X.

correct, however in this case the command of fallin was to be given next. this was done only Per SOP for our unit.
