Yes, there are Middle Eastern artists with darker complexions, like Mohammed Abdou and Sherine. But the thing is that Mid Easterns have very different looks, and it's actually only really Nubians who are dark - most Middle Easterns do actually have quite fair skin so it's not about certain skin colours being looked down upon...Mid Easterns, generally, just aren't dark - go to the Mid East and see for yourself ;). Not that there's anything wrong with being dark, all skin colours are beautiful :)

This lebanese dialect is more modern compared to other lebanese singers like assi el hellani who sing in traditional dabke. This dialect can be understood in jordon and syria also. Lebanese accent is very hot in my peronal opinion, because they also have french mix. But mostly egyptian arabic can be understood across most arabic countries.
