With Cichlids, overcrowding is normal. It reduces aggression in the tank. As long as you are cycling 100% of the water a week (5 gallons 4 times a week) you will be fine. However why do you have coral in a Cichlid tank? They like stone... Their native lakes are 100% rock bottom... no coral and very little vegetation
I did n I put 9 cichlids in my gallons. but they were stilling fighting to death n it made me upset. now I only have 4 left. Does anybody know how to keep cichlids from fight each other.
wow, terrible tank. im pretty sure i can decorate my fish tank better with my eyes closed. And for the viewer who is looking to buy cichlids, dont follow this persons lead. :(
Well, i agree that its their money and their stuff but these ppl are just trying to help this person save money in the future if he loses any of his fish due to lack of knowledge. I respect his effort of putting this tank together, but he has no respect for his fish because obviously, no research had been done prior to the purchase of these fish. And corals in a fresh water tank?
who cares ppl if they have to many fishes in a small tank its their money and its there stuff u dont have to talk shiet that their tank is small. ur just jealous that u dont have money and complaining abou their fish tank show some repect.
Can anybody tell me wether my lighting is good enough for my plants. i have a 20 gallon with a total of about 19 to 20 watts lighting flourecant full hood. i want some low lighting plants like anacharis, java moss, java ferns, anubias, some amazon swords if possible. and i would like to know if they can be planted in pool filter sand or sand. and i would also want to know if i still need to fertilze them.i dont want to use co2 because i cant afford it plese help!thanks.(ANYBODY PLEASE RESPOND)
