raquet sports is one of the WORST games on WII. and trhe worst ubisoft game created. the controls are awful without the motion plus and worse camera alone needing perfect lighting like a best buy store or your average school lights.

the manual tell you nothing, the game's tutorial is barely helped, the ball hit is anywhere from instant to a 1 second delay like a xbox kinect.

anyone eho calls this a good funtional game clearly never played wii sports which come with the damn system

The controls are lazy and bad, instead of swinging the Wii remote realistically to hit the ball, it is based on timing so any waggle motion will do. It is so boring. The motion plus adds nothing except for how hard you swing which makes a weird spring sound. No Mii support even though ubisoft went through the trouble of re-creating them. They have nice environments and a lot of customization variety but with bad controls that means nothing. Ubisoft copies every popular game and trys ti cash in..

I bought this a couple of days ago with two wii motion plus accessories.

Playing solo can become rather repetetive and pretictable but once you invite friends over to play it's actually aewsome and hilarious playing this game!

Great fun!

I can recommend it if you're looking for an interactive game to play with other friends :)

First off, all Wii sports games suck. They're meant for fatass Americans who are too lazy to go out and actually play the sport, because of their lack of stamina and lack of skill. I should know, because I'm both an American and own a Wii. Second off, Badminton IS flicking your wrist, pretty much. I play Badminton and Tennis pretty much all year except winter, and I play Ping-Pong. I suggest that you actually go play a real sport with real people instead of flicking a controller by yourself.

The characters look a little creepy with no arms, while the Miis don't have arms either, they also looked less real and far more cartoony. Maybe it's just a requirement in tennis to have your arms chopped off and antigravity cuffs put onto your hands so you can play

I even know why they don't have arms: a game that transform your movements to your character movements have to deal with the fact that the character arm length and the length of the movement you do isn't quite the same - and it is painfull to try to match them.

Eh. The best tennis game I've ever played is Mario Tennis for the GameBoy Color. Good learning curve, fast-paced gameplay, challenging opponents and minigames. Really smooth control, and even great music. Nothing else has ever compared for me in terms of fun, not even Mario Tennis 64. In fact, CGR should review it! I'd lend my copy to Mark quite gladly, if he was interested.

Now I know you're only 12 - the Wii target audience - but come now, the system is HUGELY light on actual games. Plenty of shovel ware and mini-game collections, but the Wii promised a lot with it's motion controller and has failed to deliver...even with motion plus. Nintendo has forgotten it's core gamers, simply tossing them the same old franchises with very little innovation - just tacked on and often shoddy motion controls.

I lov old school games like mario, digdug, tetris and all other games and wii delivers it better than the actual old consoles. It has many good games for older players too, Metroid Trilogy, Monster Hunter,Conduit, Red Steel 2, all great games. And most of the games are fun if u have someone to play with. That what u call "same old franchises" are the best if u ask me, pure classic.
