  • wheres davy jones an all the crew?

these arnt pirates.wheres all the parrotts and wooden legs n shit..only kidding..go pirates, rob these rich companies blind..just dont hurt no-one..if their clever they wont have to. they know that. Ak 47 is "the very best there is" sam jackson-jackie brown...so it must be true..right? which thick fuck got these dudes mixed up with terrorists? atleast pirates have a plan! most terrorist blame their actions on religion! by the way 911 was bushes plan not theres

  • I would love to meet this catz in person. Because CVI would be the last people they met before prison, if not worst!

  • Old RPGs and AK47s are not exactally the most modern weaponry.

  • RPG and AK47 are extremely sufficient.

  • Wtf dude? If i shot you with a sten and then with an mp5 would you tell the difference? Probably not. As MaritimeSecurity said those guns you mentioned are extremely sufficient. They're still used today for more than just cheapness :P

  • pirates never succeed on cargo ships of israel or US flag ships because they have armed guard that will kill pirates without mercy. cruise ship are loaded with security mostly contracted by israel's private company.

violence is only language and justice the pirates will understand. killing a pirate should be a public policy.

  • Not true, but close.

  • Also, no eye patches, hooks for hands, peg legs, & parrots on their shoulders? They just don't make 'em like they used to. Aarrr!

  • Terrorists SPEND money for poltical gains, pirates MAKE money through piracy: big difference here; though I wouldn't hesitate to use anti-terrorist arms of the military to combat piracy.

  • Pirates aint terrorists, terrorists cause terror in others lives by threatening to kill them selves and others with them for their beliefs, pirates on the other hand kill but not always kill, they are freeroamers trying the best to feed their familys.

im a pirate so i vouche for these guys, but if they ever mess with my crew i'll waste no time to kill them.

  • youre a pirate really? u hijack ships?

  • propaganda. most of (what they call as) piracy are robbery at ports, and with similar motive as other crimes. the brutality only happened rarely, the same case that they're exaggerating every day

  • Propaganda...

    Just think about it..

Why would you blow yourself up if u have children and a wife to feed ?

Isnt that the only reason to become a pirate ?

They rather sell their own organs then becoming a terrorist.

  • Pirates don't blow themselves up, your confusing terrorist with piracy.

Pirates are there for the own gain, they are not there for any other reason.

  • This is a prob that should be tackled but you don't want to exaggerate. Some figures put the avg. theft per case around $5k-$15k in SE Asia. In 2000 there were only 8 IMB reported attacks and 75 reported incidents in the Strt of Mal. In 2003 there were only 28 incts. Shipping cos have few incentives to report incidents since it can waste their time, still those numbers are pretty low. Hijackings are similarly low. There are costs, but they are not astronomical relative to profit being made.

  • This trailer brings to the forefront one of the oldest and most universally outlawed acts in international law. Piracy should command our awareness today since it always seems that people bent on destruction find the people most vulnerable to persuasion-- the impoverished. I hope this film gets the attention it deserves.

  • I think this is going to be an incredibly interesting and novel film. I had no idea pirating was that big and easy. My critique for the trailer is that it was hard to understand even the english speaking individuals. Don't know how you could fix that other than using subtitles (which I don't recommend). For me, the music works...it is kind of clubbish, but it's a fast pace, intense subject. If you changed it, make sure it has a fast beat.

  • Incredible! Why aren't more people talking about this? Is it really that easy to pull off such an attack, and is anyone doing anything about it? Where can I see the film?

  • if you could get footage of an actual hijacking without getting harmed or arrested that would be something. there doesnt really seem to be much in the mainstream media about modern-day at-sea hijacking.... I wonder why? I'm also curious as to what kind of laws hijackers would be subject to if ships were taken in international waters? this should be interesting.

  • AWESOME---CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FILM

  • And Tuesday, September 19th is "Talk Like a Pirate Day" .... I'm in big trouble!
