i built a basic distraction on my castle, at the entrance i have a torch holding up some sand holding up some torches holing up more sand at my door on the inside so when i need to make a quick getaway i run in and break the torch, blocking the door and giving me time to escape

About the closest to impenetrable you can get is a floating island high over the ocean. Have a waterfall to climb up, but you can close it when you are up there.

Be realistic here, players are smart. They'd either build a bridge, break in using a pick or something, get in because they have a good few second before the wall falls, or just kill you right there. The end. But' still, nice job, one of the first mecanisms like this I've seen without redstone! :)

@ShadeTornado make the building out of obsidian and then skip a space then make another wall and then fill the space you skipped with lava so if they try to break through they are screwed! Thats how you make and impenetralbe building (also need a ceiling and floor out of obsidian though)
