I think it would have been awesome if Willow and the Scoobie gang brought Kendra back from the dead, the same way Buffy was brought back... That way there would be three slayers: Buffy, Kendra, and Faith... All of who fight side by side in the final battle of the seventh season. That would have been so cool!!!
Why don't the slayers agree to be killed in a manner that they can be revived, so that each new one can do that and lead to an infinite number of slayers. BAM instant victory over vampires.

Drusilla was a dark vampire because she was very mentally unstable. However, we hardly ever saw her in a fight with anyone which questions her body strength. If Drusilla never had that mind control, I reckon Kendra would've killed her but then get annihilated by Spike and Angelus.
So Kendra would've died in a different scenario. And plus if she never, we wouldn't have gotten Faith who really did give Buffy a run for her money.

@deidara0430 Actually Drusila wasn't weak. Remember when Kendra first came she said her Watcher sent her to Sunnydale because a very dark power was about to rise in Sunnydale, so she is definently dark enough to register on the scales of being considered a threat.

@deidara0430 I agree that Dru is physically the least threatening of the main vampire heavies,but she's both psychic AND utterly psycho,so that does count.Just not enough against a kick to the teeth and a stake to the heart,which is what Kendra should've given her.But as I recall Bianca Lawson VOLUNTARILY LEFT THE SHOW to try her hand at another series,and JOSS ET AL wrote her death after that decision.Not the wisest decision,lol,and Joss wuolda prolly killed her anyway.

i wished they`d have kept kendra the same way as buffy, her slayer healing and strength allows someone to find and revive her. it would have been great if they had done a story where the watchers try to create another more obedient slayer so there are FOUR slayers, sort of a horsewomen of the apocalypse episode
i liked kendra a lot. there was loads of opportunities to bring her back. I think it would have been interesting to bring back kendra in season 5 or 7 as a spirit or as the first. especially when buffy was trying to find why "death was her gift to the world".

Buffy had already died once at that stage and had come back to life. i think the audience needed to realise that though slayers were powerful they were not invunerable and they could be easily killed. Kendra's death proved this. Besides, the show is called buffy the vampire slayer - joss could not let kendra or faith in too much, it would ruin the dynamic of the show. You can't replace the title character.
It's fair that she died, however i would have loved it she left the show to continue living somewhere else. then she could come back and show how much cooler she's gotten:-P

But Kendra was sent to the other Sunnydale by Jenny Calendar and Jenny was killed by vamp Xander who saw Kendra and became obsessed with her. Angel rescued Kendra from a vamp after she took six on but was fatigued from not eatting for three days and used all her strength to fight them. Angel took her under his wing and bought clothes for her which where expensive and it caught Cordelia'

I will never understand the reasoning behind killing Kendra off the show. She was a very good character that had so much potential to evolve and become a valuable part of the scoobie gang. But what really pissed me off is that of all the people, Joss let Dru kill Kendra! Which made no sense at all. Kendra kicked Angel's ass like he was a rag doll, so how then does Dru with no real fighting skill murder her with a flick of a finger nail? Ugh. KENDRA 4EVER!
To be fair, Dru was psychic. She hypnotised Kendra first before slitting her throat. I would have liked Kendra to escape and come back later, but ah well! Still, a badass kill for Dru! I always loved her...

I will never understand the reasoning behind killing Kendra off the show. She was a very good character that had so much potential to evolve and become a valuable part of the scoobie gang. But what really pissed me off is that of all the people, Joss let Dru kill Kendra! Which made no sense at all. Kendra kicked Angel's ass like he was a rag doll, so how then does Dru with no real fighting skill murder her with a flick of a finger nail? Ugh. KENDRA 4EVER!

To be fair, Dru was psychic. She hypnotised Kendra first before slitting her throat. I would have liked Kendra to escape and come back later, but ah well! Still, a badass kill for Dru! I always loved her...

Seriously. Kendra should have stayed on the show. But she was FAR too badass and had to have DRUSILLA of all vampires kill her off...Damn it, Joss. Always killing off all of my favorites.

I KNOW RIGHT! Kendra was such a likeable character! Even if joss didn't want us to see her again, he should have just let her go slay in Jamaica or somewhere! So we can atleast pretend she's still outher being cool:-(

@hbrett91 i like to pretend that when she went to the morgue, a vampire (not knowing she was a slayer) turned her because he thought she was too beautiful to die, so now she lives like blade, hunting and hating her own kind

Joss probably knew how much influence Kendra would have over the show
i loved her better than Buffy especially when Buffy was too busy fawning over Angel
