We identify however we feel comfortable. Saying that recessive genes are more dominant is crazy talk. You should understand that many genes control your features, not one or two. Also, even though black is dominant, it is not always selected for. This is random, but the deck is stacked in favor of the dominate gene.

Whoever said African women are the least beautiful are obviously just trying to protect themselves. Kinda strange that all the white women are now filling their lips, tanning and even getting butt implants! Aside from those particular treats African women often have very smooth eye and brow regions, making you look YOUNG which was always considered beautiful. On top you even age better as well!

I have to correct you. There are two half white women in this vid ( alicia keys, and halle berry). The rest are just like the majority of afro-americans (mixed with native american, latin, white and so on). Most of us would have no problem pulling a native american out of our family tree--plenty of white folks in there too. Back in the day my great grandma would tell her kids not to think themselves special because of long hair and light skin (in some cases) because of the one drop rule

Lame, I'm sorry I missed Mel B...geez. How is it that a biracial person represents white beauty only (in your mind) and not the other portion of their heritage. FYI bi means two...so if someone has a biracial grandparent doesn't mean they are bi racial...it would mean they are 1/4 of the other race. Halle Berry just had a daughter with a white male so her daughter is 1/4 black. In the end I respect how the person sees themselves.

That's not true. All biracials do not look caucasian. I have cousins who are black and white some are light, and actually, some aren't. My bf's mom is of black, cuban and white ancestry and she looks like a carmel colored black woman ( and that's how she sees herself). You should try to get out more. Perhaps it'll help you get over your hate ( or whatever it is) you have towards biracial and white people.

I've never heard of a 1/3rd rule and I haven't found any reference to such as rule as it pertains to race. All of these arbitrary metrics in order to classify and categorize people, whether it be blue veins, brown paper bag test, pencil or any hypo-descent rule, are ridiculous at best. @army2k08, if u want to do a quick study on the 1/3 rule start with the one drop rule. Type in, "one drop rule" into wikipedia and read through "Recent classifications". It used to be that anyone with any (or one drop) blk blood made them classified as entirely blk. In 1990 they enacted a 61% rule then in 2000 changed it to 31% (or basically 1/3).

Black/ sub saharan Africans are the most genetically divsere people in the world.
And it is well known in the realm of physical anthropology that black/ sub saharan Africans show greater natrual physical variation then any other group of people due to the length of time they have lived in Africa
