I do not knw why everyone is so upset about the split between these two kids. It is a common action that occurs when teens have babies. Its also common for them to reuinte also. It is a merely how things work sometimes. Niether one of them were ready to be parents so young however Bristol doesnt have much of choice but to be ready because she is the mother and Levi has more options unfortunately because he is the man. im not sure what you meant by your reply to my comment. In the case of Bristol Palin she didn't have a choice but to be a mother once her mother found out she was pregnant. There is no way she was going to be allowed to give the baby up for adoption or have an abortion. Bristol's options were few once she became pregnant because of her mothers position on freedom of choice verses right to life and Levi gets to walk away clean if he wants to do so.

It goes to show example that teaching abstinence until marriage is a flawed philosophy because, like you said, the children aren't willing to listen to it. Statistics show that people who are raised to practice abstinence instead of safe sex are much more likely to have a child out of wedlock, and much more likely to contract an STD. Its ironic that the poster mom for the abstinence movement in Alaska can't even convince her own daughter, but she wants to implement abstinence in schools all over

This is aside the point from the first post but is nonetheless invalid. Children's actions are a pretty direct reflection of how the child was raised. If someone's kid acts like a total brat in public, you don't say "the kid is a brat, but the parents can't be blamed for their child's disobedience" you say, "Shit, those parents better shut that kid up!"
