This and The Nutty Professor are deffinetly my favorit Jerry Lewis movies. But unfortunetly, though modernized through the yrs, comedy and romance has become really raunchy, to put it mildly. I've seen some good and bad older and newer movies. You just need to aquire the taist and in time you will know what's worth watching and what shouldn't even be considered as art or good clean entertainment. This is written from a twenty somthings heart! who appreciates old movies and thier morals.

I don't get it. Is there some part of the movie missing? She met him for a minute and was suddenly head over heels. That makes no sense to me. Then again, it was like that in Cinderella, too, I guess.

Well, I hadn't seen that movie since I was little, and at that time I asked my mother: "What happened to his bicycle?" A very pleasant film, a reminder of a fun era when they made charming movies. Thank you!

well they wrapped that up rather quickly... what was the whole thing with the money... so Fella knew it was there all that time, why didn't he kick them out long ago? Or leave long ago? Did he JUST realize they were using him? Also seemed like his personality became less goofy and more confident after the money was discovered - was there a reason or were they just trying to end the movie quickly?

@Bardoftoday I think perhaps Fella held out on the money as long as he could, hoping that Stepmother and Brothers would come to want him around because they liked him, not because they were trying to get work/money from him. But after the ball, he realized that they never would like him, they just wanted his money, and he was through. And I think after he quit trying to make them like him, he became more confident. lol, or am I reading too much into this? :P
