I'll burn my van before I ever put anything forgien in the engine oil. do you realize how much damage that could be doing to the pistons, cylinder walls, bearings, and valve train?
I took my '06 Nissan Frontier to the dealer and they told me that I have to clean the fuel injector which would cost me at least 200 bux, are they ripping me off then if it was this simple to do so?
For fuel injectors try BG 44K. Its about as good as it gets for fuel system cleaning. It is about 20$ a can but you wont need to use it more than a once every few years. Sea foam isnt concentrated enough to use in the fuel system with much effect, its good through carb etc but not fuel.
Its supposed to help clean out any gunk in your engine, especially in the fuel injectors. If your engine is already clean its not going to do much, yes. I bought this truck used though. I have no idea if the oil was ever changed so it makes sense to gunk it out. In my case it did help. Helped quit a bit.
Oh & did you really use the words "cheep" & "gas" in the same sentence? Sure wish I could find some cheep gas.
@NoddSCIPIE I think by ''cheap gas'', he probably meant regular unleaded. There is a local taxi company that uses only premium gas in their Crown Victoria's. The cars require only regular, but premium is all they use. Who's to say if it prolongs engine life. But a religiously regular oil change certainly goes a long way.
And that crap is suppose to do what??? I have used it 3 different times in vehicles
it doesnt do a damn thing but make your vehicle smoke and run like shit.....A better idea would be to change your Oil EVERY 3000 miles! and quit buying cheap gas!
What would have made this video hilarious.... when you pull out the driveway an 18 wheeler comes and plows the side of the truck. Not wishing any harm to you ofcourse. Just sayin the video would be funny.
@prinston35 Oddly enough I see where you are coming from. I don't think that would be funny if that happened, but the way it is recorded is just seems like that is what should happen as he pulls out. I have been watching too much tv.
To clean out the injectors you can just fill your tank with 91+ fuel at the gas station and poor the whole can in the tank after and then just drive.

you changed them shortly after doing the seafoam job i'd imagibe. might be a diesel and it was glow pugs you needed.

you need new sparks plugs or check connections. shouldn't take that long for the engine to kick in.
