depending on how long the question is, it can help you with time. let's say it takes 30sec to ask ken a question and lee gets 15sec question or ken gets questions that can be answered without hearing the ending of the question and lee has to listen to everything in order to answer. grand slam is ok, but it does not allow equal chances

Yeah, enough with the bitching that Victor's questions were shorter. As has been said, the questions are displayed in front of each player as they're being read, they don't have to wait until the questioner's done to answer, and Victor got the longest question anyway, and also got it wrong. The 7-11 question was also not impossible as one person said. A cup is 8 oz., and the Big Gulp is 32 oz., or four cups. 35 oz. was actually kind of a dumb guess by Jennings.

Can somebody explain to me all these rules for the game show "Grand Slam", if you please??

Basically they answer questions while a timer goes from 1 minute to 0.  When they get a correct answer, their timer stops and the opponents timer starts. The person that goes to 0 first loses the round and the other player keeps the remaining time to use in the final round (so if he won by 30 seconds he would get an extra 30 seconds in the final). This goes on for 3 rounds in different categories then they face off with their final times in a final category. First person who goes to 0 loses.

That's accurate. He did win the votes for worst NFL commentator (or announcer) ever cast on the NFL. I honestly don't know how he can keep getting work. If I remember correctly, Victor was the only contestant besides Ogi that beat Ken in the general trivia round. It was slanted because Victor got many of his specialty pop culture questions, but he was overall one of the more competent contestants. If Victor had math skills comparable to Ogi's he probably would have done very well. I'd love to see him again on the opposite side of the bracket.
