Back in the mid-60's I remember a Hollywood celebrity game vs. major leaguers;some HOF's were out there; Mays, Clemente, etc., and they were taking it easy and beating the tar out of the Hollywood guys. Then in the middle of an inning they brought in this short guy to pitch. It was Feigner, and Clemente was up. The first pitch must have been 100mph. Struck out Clemente, Mays and someone else.
The MLB's got serious then, but still couldn't hit him. I'll never forget it. Wish it were here
my dad saw the king in calgary in the early 70's and he said he was truly amazing..i saw him in moncton n.b. in 2000,he was not playing.rich hoppe was doing the chucking but eddie was still a big part of the routine..definately the best ever..he will be missed...thanks for posting

The greatest of all time.
I was very lucky to see The King once when I was a young boy in my hometown in Massachusetts.
I was amazed at his skill.
An American legend.
