I saw Diamond Steel Orchestra performing live at St. Lucia Jazz Festival in 2010 ~ Tea Time Jazz at La Place Carenage. They have an energy, a boundless energy. I guess you could say I was transfixed. Captivated. There is nothing like seeing another person knowing who he/she is and doing what he/she is supposed to be doing. I saw this. If ever you are in St Lucia they are a must hear and their CDs are a must buy.

I am a St. Lucian and these guys play anything and everything on the pan. You heard here "Let's groove tonight" and Shakira's "Hips don't lie." The guy on the front line told me that once he hears a song he can immediately play it on the pan, Just natural talent. Awesome
