@almatrahjay Your wrong, a Muslim man is allowed to marry outside of his relgion as long as their people of the Book (Jews or Christians) but it is recomended to marry a Muslim for the sake of the children. A Muslim women on the other hand can only marry a Muslim.

I see alot of comments on here that says the NOI aren't muslims I am not in the NOI but as a black man I appreciate all they have done for the black mind and in revealing some truths to their ppl. As far as them being muslims they prey every day as far as I know they say allah and not god. They took the religion and made it work for them and their ppl, just as the arabs and whites and indians do.

I don't care about Islam. I care about black ppl though. And if the NOI is helping black ppl and is their version of Islam help lead ppl to better spiritual and mental endarkenment then I am all for it.
So, in conclusion, I don't give a damn about no "traditional" arab religion! It isn't for black ppl anyway.

and if that's the case how come they use arabic terms like Assalam Alaykom or have the names Muhammad because from what I learned those were arabic words and names.(just a side note) Arabic is the language of the Quran which will be preserved for all time. But God sent prophets from many nations, speaking that nations tongue, giving the people one message. That there is no god but God!!

Please enlighten me...for all those who are members of NOI. What would have been your reply to Christian ministers question? (1)Did Jesus ever tell someone not to marry outside there race?(2) Did your prophet (NOI) tell you not to marry someone non-black? (3) Can you(NOI) marry a white woman?

actually he is a member of NOI (and alot longer than you have been (only 11 years?) he was accompanied to the program by a few liutenants as well-NOI was well aware of his invitation and SENT him there-it just didnt work out for him thats all-you cant change your uniform just because you strike out;)

Also the korans use of "raisin heads" bothers me somewhat when it refers to Balck people.I'd have a problem with a white prophet calling me a raisin head and threatening me with slavery unless I converted to Islam.I know the continent of "Africa" had no Black muslims until mohammed appeard with his armies.That doesnt really seem "natural" to me..what are your thoughts? thanks.

please..only intellegent commentary here...i disagree with a few of their teachings but there is no doubt that they are not dogs..upon examination i only find those who call them names to be both uneducated AND dogs themselves limited to short sentences and name calling.I have never heard of an NOI member who was not intelligent.You should try debating them and you'll see (they are not dogs ;)
