MC Eiht and CMW were never really made it into the mainstream gangster rap scene, in the early 90's it was dominated by Eazy E and NWA who's lyrics proved slightly more meaningful, their rise to fame was backed up by other Cali rap groups mainly from Compton including CMW.....It is good to have seen somebody paying tribute to one of the most influencial gangster rap groups ever
