If Canada was hit and I was in charge, I would put up better anti-nuke defences, but wouldn't send out any nukes. In that case, an eye for an eye really would make the whole world blind.

No invasion of America would ever be successful almost every citizen owns a gun, tell me do you think any country would seriously try to occupy us?. It would be military suicide for any country stupid enough to try. Just imagine, there would be rouge groups of citizens, gang members, and military roaming the countryside as guerrillas.
