Well, who's supporting them now when they're not only fighting single-handedly, without ANY NOTICEABLE foreign support, against the biggest war machine humanity has ever witnessed (USA, of course); but also against some 40 different NATO countries.

Whatever weapons Taliban have are the leftovers from the Soviet war which were hidden by them in mountains all over Afghanistan when they disarmed the country in mid-90's..Also, arms are also smuggled through Iran, Pakistan, China and Central Asian countries with the aim of strangling America in this unwinnable war..
