i want to listen to music on the net and most stations don't broadcast in 32 kbps so i need highspeed net, not dial up.

earthlink was way better than AOL that's for sure. no s**t about rappers or weird hollywood movies on earthlink.

and earthlink has a cool text-to-voice notifier.

Recently I cancelled my service, by chat, had a trnscrpt sent to me, & even got a confirmation #. Today I checked my bank records & found that Elink had deducted $76! I called India & a rep said he'd refund the $, but had no explanation as to why the improper charge had happened. This is the 2nd time Elink has done this; a yr ago, when I set up srvce, they tacked on some additional service and charged me for it. I can't believe that 2 bogus charges in 1 year are accidents. Stay away from Elink!

Well, Rolla, if you'd spent a little more time working on customer SERVICE and a little less on outsourcing tech support to India, maybe you wouldn't be in this mess.
