  • @GodfatherReloaded hahaha whow are you?? Dont see good hahahaha

  • Nice video...!

  • ITF > WTF

  • @Xande994 BRUNETTES > BLONDES

  • nice kick

  • @thr33zombies

then dont call this kick dolyo chagui, its bandal chagui in any case

  • its wrong, the leg must out circular in the start of the kick

  • This videos are brilliant!

  • /watch?v=L5XfocuO35Y

    :D

  • this is technique!

  • It doesn't matter if you come from WTF or ITF ..we learn same martial arts..so respect each other..

  • @carlitosorus

Your comment shows that you're ignorant of what a true martial art is. You respect WTF because they do full contact fights that often end in KO. But maybe you don't know that actually it is WTF that is more limited than ITF. WTF lacks many basic techniques that prove very effective in combat (especially hand techniques).

WTF is more a sport then a true martial art.

  • @ThePetrusm

WTF is Taekwon-do without the "Do"

  • Any karate practitioner?

I have a question, when you do mawashi geri, you dont turn the supporting foot 180 degrees, or mawashi geri is another kick?

  • @LevaniaDaemon Hello I'm a Goju practitioner and I personnaly turn 180 but we don't send the knee in the front we lift it in a circular motion before sending the kick

  • very good

  • a la larga es lo que mas se usa durante un combate!!!

  • dollya chagi is easy :D

    ~hapkido~

  • anyone who does tae kwon do, what exercises do u learn to strength ur kicks? and anyone who can do the side splits can u help me?

  • try resting say, a small dicitonary or a book on your leg/foot and slowly extend your leg to and from the kicking position without putting it down. that really helps your posture and hip muscles by trying to keep the book on

    :D

  • i use ankle weights and do slow motion kicks, which method do u think will be more effective?

  • either's cool.

only thing is with the book thing you have to make sure you're balanced, else the book'll fall off :)

  • ok thanx ill try it

  • a good exercise is you stand against a wall holding the wall lift knee up and practice the turning kick motion without droping your knee

  • thanx ill try that one 2

  • COMO SE LLAMA LA CANCION''

what is the name of song

  • Drowninig Pool

" Let the bodies hit the floor"

  • what can be said for sure is that this guy ain't ITF, I mean look at the block he performs after the kick...I'm training ITF and it's far from the appropropriate itf palmok daebi makgi.. dunno how it should look in WTF though

  • i do ITF too.

    traditional TKD ftw :D

  • @Ranger4220 ITF is for the faggots! Long live to WTF taekwondo!

  • @carlitosorus Your comment just illustrates how disrespectful you are. Not really a trait you'd expect in in proper martial artist.

  • @moonmoo7 Are you a martial artist?

  • @carlitosorus ...I am in WTF too but you forgot something VERY important bro.All MA are great but depends to the person he/she use them. How about a bad WTF fighter? And how about Jet Li that he comes from a system that is mainly forms?Think about it.TKD is not the greatest MA and no MA is greater than another...

  • @EVEROSFP1 These MA are, as I said, simulation and demonstration, they don't know about distance, about speed or about real time battle or analysis. So, in a real fight, a ITF is surely in a weak position. Explain if you think I am wrong... As many people think, i'm wrong so I want to know why

  • @carlitosorus ...I think that is very difficult to find an MA that has analyze Kicking ,kicking strategy and footwork that much as WTF.I think you are very right man.But in a real fight ....Well,the factors are chaotic TOO many.

  • @moonmoo7 I would say that I respect the one I can fight, but the other have to proove me there value. That's why I don't respect ITF, because there don't understand how to fight, thyere just do katah and they simulate a combat.

  • @carlitosorus hahahaha I'm sorry, but you are damn ignorant that its not even funny.. Now go hop around some more you kangaroo sport player.

  • @Jehuty989 So explain it to me if i'm an ignorant. What do you have to say about it? Do you even know what you are talking about? Did you ever fight someone in a real battle?

  • @carlitosorus Ok, ill explain. First, WTF style came from ITF style so you are insulting yourself as well. Second, if you were a true martial artist, you would hav respect for all martial arts. In ITF, they also teach martial valor, respect and bushido because it is part Shotokan Karate. And Third, yes, I have been in a real fight, I dislocated this guys jaw with a ridgehand strike because he tried to stab me. Any other questions? Ok then...

  • @Jehuty989 Real fight? Was he a good fighter to let you dislocate his jaw, a martial artist? Any stupid man can be beaten by an experimental martial artist if they don't know how to fight. However, I don't know where you took this but ITF and WTF appear in different condition and in similar times, so WTF and ITF come from the same root without being the root of each other.

  • @carlitosorus I don't have time to argue with you. The truth is WTF style branched off from ITF and General Choi. And I didn't know the guy very well but he was a pretty buff dude. It was the power and precision of ITF techniques that helped me kick his ass.

  • @Jehuty989 ...Oh do Kwan(general Choi) It was only one of the nine kwans. They only share the name that he(Choi)invented.

  • I practice ITF-Tkd here in Sweden where I live and this is exactly how I´ve learnt to perform a dollyo chagi... I didn´t even know that there is a "wtf"- one...? I´ve only trained for 3 years though... So maybe I´ll learn something about this in years to come...

  • i train wtf and this is exactly the same dollyo

    conclusion

no difference in dollyo between itf and wtf

  • WTF means World Taekwondo Federation ;-)

The other kind of Taekwondo is ITF (International Taekwondo Federation)

So a WTF kick is likely a kick that is done in WTF Taekwondo, but not in ITF Taekwondo.

  • I'm not sure but I guess it's a kick approved by the WTF(World Taekwondo Federation) as opposite to a kick approved the ITF...

  • this guy is really good at holding shape ... well, he is a black belt :D

  • i hav to learn the stances, kicks and blocks in korean, thats y im lookin at this

  • This is a WTF kick. Taekwondo is a very powerful, fast, accurate and effective martial art with a great history of origin. It is the most popular martial art in the world today as over 70mollion people worlwide practise it. At the end of the day, it is down to who your trainer is as some people are taught incorrectly hence giving taekwondo a poor reputation for real life encounters. Look up Bren Foster, A WTF Taekwondo World Champion, He should answer the sceptics. My trainer is great.

  • yeah its good but the dude in this vid should pull his toes back i learned that the hard way lol

  • This is perfect technique for a WTF dollyo chagi. You only pull your toes back if you intend to hit with the ball of your foot. (Unless you mean curling your toes?)

There is another version, I seem to remember being called "dollyo chagi ap chok", where you retract your toes and hit with the ball of your foot. However you also start with the knee on the outside instead of in front. More powerful, easier to read, less control. We learned it as a way to dislocate a shoulder while holding his wrist

  • yes it is

  • It looks good but this is not the technique I have learnt for dollyo chagi. I wonder if this technique is for WTF?

  • As you can see, dobok is a WTF, so I suppose it's a WTF-compliant kick :)

  • very good 5 stars
