  • OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD make it RWD!

    there's a reason I sold my cavalier for a 20yr old Miata...

  • oh I thought the corvette was going to ad shows here... oh well ... *leaves*

  • Looks like me mums commuter car !

  • This looks almost exactly like the 2012 Civic.

  • i liked it untill i seen that space age interior. Why do the design smart looking concept cars that could easily be released and not look out of place. then put the bridge from the starship enterprise in them as a dash. nice looking car. I bet you cant see jack from the rear window. But i wouldnt care about something as silly as being able to see out the back window.

  • this car is going to be sold at around: 20,000$ . This car is seriously made for young drivers and is fuel efficient. Its going to be full of the latest technology and amazing!! Some of the technology within this car will be made by: "Apple, Google, and Facebook, as well as to brands such as Nike and Target"

    My source: metronews.ca/halifax/comment/article/1073963--young-buyers-freak-out-automakers

  • there today and the lady talking about this car said it is starting at $20,000

  • Find it really disappointing that they are fwd and 4 cylinders. Really wish we could see a rwd Chevelle with v8 option!! I would like to see a muscle car more then all these sports cars

  • Stop teasing us!

  • Make this car PLEASE!!

  • why can't automakers make a car that appeals to the youth by ASKING them if they like it BEFORE building the concept. too many curves. i like the stingray-camaro code 130R. THAT will appeal to me and my friends. this 140S is too much like a mitsubishi eclipse. plus, to appeal to youth, put a huge ass engine in it and then we would be talkin'

  • SO, GM can make a really cool concept car. Big deal. Make a really cool production vehicle, then we'll take note.

  • Finally gone are the days of the Malibu and cavalier!!! Horrible cars! I don't know who Chevy fired and who they hired but good work guys. lets put the past behind us and build nice looking cars!

  • uhhh... eye-gasm?! Yup. Eye-gasm.

  • So is this car more like a muscle car or economy car

  • @angeloristick Think, Toyota's 86. Small, light, $30kish, 200'ish HP, potential. They were made for "younger" drivers.

  • Interesting car yet is there more info about it????

  • this better be a rwd!!!!

  • that shit cray lol but for real Chevy always impresses me

  • I really have no words to say how much Chevrolet has been improving its cars and this one in particular get my words.

As i always say:"get astonished in a Chevrolet" Bingo!!!!

  • GM, you build this thing. I'll buy one! (Maybe two...)

  • Meh... Looks too much like a jap car.

  • Worst Dash Ever. It will be redesigned.

  • Looks Sick.

  • Compact sport coupes? First the Code 130R (RWD 4-cyl) and now the Tru 140S (FWD/AWD, 4-cyl). Both would be worthy but they are so close in size and function, we can only have one by Chevrolet, unless Buick or Cadillac gets to build the other.

  • >Multi-billion dollar company

    >Video is in 360p

You've got to be kidding me.

  • @EpsilonWolfBreach Cry moar

  • @EpsilonWolfBreach yeah, whats up with that

  • all I can say is WOW I hope they put an lsx in it :)

  • This is a very nice looking vehicle... hope it manages to head into production. They managed to get the Camaro into production and remained fairly faithful to the concept... so it CAN happen... but WILL it?!

  • this will never make production and if it does it will look nothing like this the c130 is better

  • baby r8 looking to me

  • A Chevy version of the ELR....

  • Yes is cool!!

  • Make this... Now!

  • 2020 Volt?

  • this car is too cool for them to make

  • Word. For me, I would say the same thing about the Corvette Stingray Concept.

There's something inherently insidious within the GM machine that won't make street production versions of their very cool concept cars. And that's a friggin' shame.

  • @triplexxxsatyr Agreed.

  • @triplexxxsatyr The SR concept was never even meant to make it into production, and if it had, there would have to be major reconstruction, ruining what really looked cool and different about it.

Chevy can easily make this into a street production car with minimal changes to the exterior, however.

  • I get that reasoning completely - that a concept car is an exploratory exercise in concepts and ideas being examined for possible production. The Corvette Indy Concept Car released in 1987 had designs cues that didn't make it to production until the C5 was released in 1998.

There is a new mgmt structure in GM and it seems like they're good listeners this time around, which is why I'm optimistic about the SR but cautiously prepared to be disappointed if it never comes to full production.

  • @triplexxxsatyr so, it's a successor of the Chevelle or El Camino?

  • WOW make this car!!

  • omg sexy

  • Holy bowtie. That's friggin' sexy as all hell.

  • Amazing great job Chevy!

  • i would buy this

  • I prefer the other car better.

    the 30R.
