This is also a three channel unit with the right and left lights connected together and the three channels each going to the red, yellow and white lights. Is yours connected to a car? Any videoes of it?

I got mine from a velleman kit for christmas a few years ago. Its not connected to my car (yet?) and i just use it for fun and at a school rave once. I have a 98' Pontiac sunfire convertible and Ive been thinking about modding it. I want to be an EE in collage and i know some guys who have modded their cars electronics on there spare time so i figure if I do mod it ill have to wait till i can get some cash.

My light organ just runs off of the 120 volt ac line. yours runs off of 12 DC i assume does it have a microphone pickup like mine or is it connected to your audio system i have seen them both ways. btw where did you get your Delorean? from that DMC place in texas or is it an original? Ive always wanted one and have been thinking about gettin one eventually, cause they are alot cheaper than i thought and since they are producing more I think that in a few years I should be able to get 1 for me.

When the color organ is off the lights work normally. It's all automatic. When you turn on the color organ, the light then respond to the music....

Have to agree with stupadazzo, i hope this fella didnt ruin the car if it is an original.Ive read the deloreans history and the creators biography, The company fell apart at the end of 81, there was just a skeleton crew left to assemble the last few cars and by early 82 it was all over. Deloreans were in production for just over a year i believe. They are very rare here in the uk and fetch upwards of £25000, just under $50,000.

I have a 1983 De Lorean. They are very very reliable as a matter of fact. The engine is a PRV V6, the same used in MILLIONS of european cars.

Driving a delorean is really unique experience. You do sit very low to the ground. It is the lowest car I have ever driven. The distance to the front of the hood is not really noticeable when you are driving. Also if you plan to own one, you will get a lot of stares and questions from strangers. Driving one makes you feel famous.
