  • Thanks for posting this! I first heard it on the Speech in the silence podcast and I loved it immediately! You do a great job at conveying a theme and the epicness of some of the voices...

    Thanks again! 93 x

  • @Goat777Face - Thank you for the comment, and the support. We're really fortunate to have so many talented people to work with, and it is a very practical method for engaging ourselves with the material.

  • @eleusyve Very practical indeed! The Rite of Mercury is my favourite. I think I'll be investing in the CD version soon ;)

  • No offense, but I thought that an occult ritual would be... darker?

  • @SuperBspb - None taken :)

  • Brilliant. Every man and every woman is a star.

  • @offrampt - Thank you!

  • Awesome!

  • @sizzlinsausage - We're so pleased that you enjoyed it.

  • The ancient people lived the numinous, they had no "belief systems". They thought by heart, while the Westerner thinks by dollars. Do you really think your performance as a higher step of evolution? You may not answer me. I need neither your performances, nor your best wishes.

  • @divsamodiv - I need not answer you, but I am happy to. Do I think our performances are a higher step in evolution? My answer would be "Yes! They are for me." If anyone else gets anything from them, we call that a bonus and a win.

  • The Westerners may have well corrupted everything which came from the Ancient Orient - from the Roman empire till nowadays. Have you ever thought about that possibility? As for Egypt consult with some Egyptologist. I'm specialized in another tradition but know enough to tell you that the Ptolemaic period is the corruption of the authentic Egyptian tradition. Do you really believe that human consciousness evolves for better? It's a question of beliefs, so I prefer not to argue with believers.

  • @divsamodiv - What you call corruption I call evolution. Do I see it as better? Not necessarily. I accept it as the organic process that it is and prefer to work with it as opposed to against it. It's a question of efficacy. But I fully support you in viewing and exercising your work differently, and wish you the greatest of success.

  • I'm angry because I can't stand the profanation of the antiquity by the modern Western occultism.

  • @divsamodiv - 93. I am sorry that you see the adaptation of the religious corpus over time as something emotionally distressing, but as someone who has studied the Egyptian mysteries, certainly you must be aware of the adaptation that went on during the development and maturation of their practices. Look at the changing role of Set in various dynasties, not to mention the popularity of the Cult of Isis in Rome. As human consciousness evolves, our perception of the divine evolves with it.

  • If you want to be authentic read some ancient Egyptian texts, study some Egyptologist works, visit some museums, undertake a pilgrimage trip to Egypt, try to do some channeling through the ancient imagery to contact the spirit of time, that past aeon, try to feel how the ancient Egyptians felt etc. etc. until you get an insight and then think how to express it so it may make an aesthetic and any other sense for the contemporary audience.

  • However, Crowley himself has bent the Egyptian tradition to his own service as many Western occultists did and still do. That's not an authentic approach to stick a millennia old tradition into some Christian cabala and declare it as a revelation from the gods. Even if this approach works magically it's your wishful thinking which works, not the ancient tradition.

  • And how do you decide that I'm a Thelemite too? True, it could be said that I'm involved in the so called occult but I have nothing to do with any Golden Dawn, or Crowley's stuff, though I appreciate Crowley as an advanced personality for his time.

  • Blah, blah, some afflicted Thelemite :P

  • @divsamodiv - Yes, you are right! I am clearly just some Thelemite posting clips to the internet. It's here for myself and the handful who enjoy it, but as with anything on the internet, or in the arts, it's not for everyone. That said, you are just some Thelemite who doesn't like it. Please feel free to hate it as much as you will. Any time you need to look down on someone else, come on by and check us out again, we'll still be here, a fitting target for your derision. 93.

  • Pseudo-pagans of Christian souls! Evangelist-like show! Total lack of authenticity as far as some channelling to the ancient Egyptian mysteries is concerned! But what is to be expected by the sectarian followers of Crowley? If Crowley was an individual of advanced thought for his time, his present followers are all mediocre conformists.

  • @divsamodiv - 93.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I must say, your ability to read so much into our lack of authenticity, and mediocre conformity based upon a video clip is quite stunning.

So, based on your post, I'll see if I can glean something about you! You must be a profoundly evolved soul who has all the time in the world to watch youtube videos, yet can't be bothered to take the time to say anything the least bit useful in a critique... or a maladjusted and rude child.

    93's, J

  • I loved this! I think that very few Thelemites would find this wanting! I will be recommending this to all my fellows here!

  • As a follower of The Great Lord, Djehuty, in all his godly forms, I desperately want to like this, but the sad fact is, I don't. Religious fervour cannot disguise the fact that the production values are poor. It is painful to listen to - stilted and pedestrian - and it pains me to have to say so, but I will not praise that which is not praiseworthy.

    Love under will.

  • @CaptainQuark9 - Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

We appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. It's disappointing that our production and composition values do not meet your standards, but as it is all our meager funds and talent can muster, we must be satisfied that we did our noble best, despite our failure to please you.

Love is the law, love under will.

    Respectfully, Jon

  • Powerful and beautiful. While I would usually prefer something more dark, deep, and masculine to capture Hermes, the brightness of the performance does not fail to demonstrate the brilliant, bright, and enveloping Violet Light always associated with encounters with Thoth-Hermes-Mercury-Odin-Enki. 93, 93/93

  • @Jugglesama - 93. Thank you so much for your kind words. Overall we are very pleased with the results of our work. We're currently working on The Rite of Sol, and do hope that you will enjoy it as well. 93, 93/93. Jon

  • The guy at 9:49 seems hella familiar. Any chance we could've seen him somewhere else?

  • @kalacs32 - I would say that all depends on where you have been looking :) He's done a great deal of modeling and ritual work, and is a long time friend.

  • @eleusyve Ooh, thank you for the quick answer. I believe it may have been modelling then, I remember it may have been a "regular", non-esoteric souce. Can I ask his name?

I really love your work so far, btw!

  • @kalacs32 - While his name appears in the credits, I feel uncomfortable posting it on an open web forum, and I presume he has worked under several names depending on the roles.

We're very gratified that you appreciate the work, and we'll make every effort to keep it coming :)

  • @eleusyve Oooh, ok, sorry about that.

  • 93!

if you put a legend in english will be better, because sometimes is difficult to understand. My english is not pretty good ...

    thanks

    93, 93/93

  • That's bloody blashpemy.. Luna was Wicked too :( Grrr

  • Very Good! Much better than the Rite of Luna. You really are improving.

  • @Mercury418 - Thank you. We've learned a great deal along the way. Each Rite has been a unique experience, and we're looking forward to Sol.

  • Powerful!!! 93 to you and Hail Hermes/Thoth!!!

  • @TheHermgirl - Thank you! 93.

  • I need to ask you a little ... what happens is that I want to enter to the order and I have some doubts..... When invocations are done to spirits you see them face-to-face??? and also I want to know if you can ask for things them as money, love, health, happiness, etc?????

  • @laleshka231

I suggest you embark on a period of self study before even contemplating joining any Order.

  • @laleshka231 - Allow me to recommend some reading that might address some of your questions, as well as your concerns. Magick Without Tears by Aleister Crowley would be a good place to start. Here is an online version based on the first edition @ hermetic.com/crowley/magick-without-tears/

Pay particular attention to Chapter LVIII for information about spirits.

As for money, love, heath and happiness... you have to earn those like everyone else, but magick can help.

    Good fortune!

  • @laleshka231 While it certainly wouldn't hurt to read Crowley, and a period of self-study can be quite salutary, there's an easier way: The Church of the SubGenius. For a price too low to mention here, the Church *guarantees* you "Eternal Salvation or Triple Your Money Back"!

  • So wonderful! Can't wait for the dvd! xoxo

  • This is magnificent! Words are not enough to express...

Each person involved with the Production is a Star!

I so appreciate your talents. Thank you!

  • @vickima12 - Thank you!

  • Lovely!

  • Pleasure to be the first from this part of the pond to welcome such an excellent video to Youtube...
