I race an e-firestorm flux too, and i find myself usually winning :-). We dont have enough stadium trucks for a full heat so we race the 4x4 short course trucks too. The Firestorm stomps those too. Rustlers are the funniest, comedy handling.
Im allmost 16 (just like you) and how do i come to still like them ?
its a real hobby , the fun is to improve your cars step by step , probably you've never found that... and anyway ps3 is for little kids , if you play games , play on PC.

dude i used to love this cars and had like 8 of them, now i have realized how stupid they are... and most of the drivers are 30+ years old, i recommend you to sell them and buy a ps3 with modern warfare 2.
Haha. Console gaming is for kids (you've proved that). I play MW2, on the PC with the big boys. Kids who think sitting on a couch playing videogames is a real hobby is a reason why the current generation of kids and teens are doomed.
@Helgaiden yeah dude i think you are right console gaming is for kids but dont you feel embarrased when you are driving your rc car and people stares at you like thinking oh this guy is a total dumb?
Nah the dumb ones are people like you who think like that. Nobody stares, people just come up and ask "what are those?" and then immediately ask "how fast do they go?" and "how much do they cost?"
@manuel5845 You'll be surprised how many girls will start talking to you when you're running these high powered Rc cars. Just go to a busy park or beach and you'll see. Don't go out there with a 15mph pos I'm talking 60mph plus beast. I'm 22 and I'll tell you I have a blast running these when sitting at home getting fat playing PC(WoW) or Xbox.
@manuel5845 And don't kids play with Videogames? It's called a hobby. Bashing people on what they enjoy doing is immature. You'll be surprised how much you can learn from an Rc car. A videogame isn't going to teach you how to service a motor or how mechanical parts work. Plus all the losers or lowlifes or crybabies you meet on-line is just soo annoying. Warcraft is a perfect example. You're 16, you have alot of growing up to do and a videogame isn't going to help you with that.
aight,im sure youve heard ths alot. im either getting a sc10,e firestorm,or a rc10t4. i know they are all goreat cars, but could you tell me what would be one of the best for the track? im usually driving 1/8 scales in the desert or so and am trying ot get back into the sport.oh and should i get the e firestorm and put a mamba in it? r get the flux?
@swigtrick The T4 is a very awesome truck on the track but very fragile. The Sc10 is just a SC version of the T4. The E-Firestrom is more durable but is setup for bashing. You can set it up for racing with no problem(it's using the same design as the Losi XXX-T and the Ae T4...So it's a racer at heart) and with the Blitz ESE options this truck will destroy the track without breakage.
Pretty much you can put a battery in and go. How long it lasts depend on how hard you drive and how much MAH your battery has (a 5000 MAH battery pack will last longer than a 3200 MAH pack).
nice vid mate. I've just bought a Firestorm Flux, and was wondering if you had any tips for a noob in regards to jumping. you certainly seem to know what you're doing.
Well for jumping...setup your truck right and remember that throttole and brake controls pitch in the air. If the truck looks like its kicking out in the air, get on the throttole to stabilize it. If its nose-up, slam the brake. Be 100% sure to let go of the throttle before hitting the ground. Also, be sure not to get squirly right before the jump or turn your wheels to correct or anything. It can cause you to jump weird.
i got one too i got the novac havoc spec 10.5 i put some new tires on it its pretty fast i wuz thinking about selling it tu get a tamiya dark impact but i changrd my mine though

seems logical enough, thanks.
what about approach speed? is there a general rule of thumb you apply, or is it jump-by-jump/experience based?
