i have a suggestion how about making zombies destroy some blocks to get you and creepers and endermen work together to get to you and kill you you now once you have your house normally monsters aren't a problem other than of creepers you can make the game more interesting maybe zombies will dig to you?

@InvertedShadow I'm making this huge labyrinth, but when I designed it I forgot to make a walktrough. Is it posible that the mob goes straigt to where I tell him as soon as I tell him? Becaus what I saw here was that the mobs first look around for any posibilitys. Or am I beeing wrong in that?

i just realized your path finding system can be used in more than one way.

for example, people like to make red stone machines, but the advanced machines are hardly practical in size. the path finding system can redesign the machines to be smaller while still having the same cause and effect.

What about a prolonged waypoint mode, Useful for making guards and etc.

You would click on an area and it would be counted as a waypoint, eventually it would lead back to waypoint 1 for a loop, then the npcs could just do that waypoint loop over and over.

Would it be possible to make it so if a target is behind a thin wall, the mob could ask for assistance from a creeper to blow up the wall, making a way in? or would that be too hard to implement?

@HGenome I'll open source it when I release it, but I wrote it knowing that I would be the only one working on it so it is a bit messy. I've considered doing write ups on how the more complex mods work if people were interested.

@InvertedShadow Great mod, the vanilla mobs certainly need better pathfinding. (Oh the joys of a lava pit.) There is, however, one thing you need to add that the vanilla game has: smooth walking and turning. Smart pathfinder AI's usually (with all games, not just your mod) look like they're on a hidden rail track. Maybe a random pause here and there to make the mobs appear like they are thinking about where they are walking.
