  • @danvalenti Thank you I need to post this on blogs -if and when there is a trial I hope they call Joyce Purnick to the stand. Cuomo regrets giving Rattner immunity and if Bloomberg is even further exposed for corrupt dealings by Haggerty besides wiring money out his private account than maybe Purnick will have to testify on piece in her book about Rattner urging Mike to run for a 3rd term. Rattner pleaded the 5th so many times he should be banned by the SEC. It is corrupt club. Mike's $ cayman

  • Bloomberg is sexist: he doesn't treat women as equals. If he did, he'd make sure his own company treated women as being equal to men. What is more, he'd treat Speaker Quinn (regardless of how effective she is at a leader, or how forthcoming she's been to the community) with a little more dignity and a little more respect. Speaker Quinn shouldn't have to be Bloomberg's hand maiden. But that's how Bloomberg sees all women: as mere servants to the master. Shame on Bloomberg !

  • Yo know he has "word police" in the email for Bloomberg empire but people told me you could get around it on the re: line so one of their little pleasures was to do so. Joyce picks developer Mike Red Square Rose out of all the people protesting third term and describes him as "community organizer" which is laughable. He lives in the symbol of gentrification that was a welfare building and too date has never honored community facility which many believe is owed. Dishonest book.

  • It is the illusion of democracy, not democracy. I put the links to the YouTubes by me and a fellow YouTuber that capture a woman telling Norman Siegel those words as she and many others were turned away by NYU and The Villager at the Christine Quinn, Derr, Kurland debate and surprise Quinn's supporters magically made it to the front of the line, The Villager endorsed Quinn and turned away the press and so many that did not support Quinn and NYU's pres said Mike must have 3rd term. Quinn=Mike

  • very interesting.....very. thanks for your diligence and keeping us informed!

  • The NY Times schills for her book, Mike Rosen, Amanda socialite city planner mega millionaire the people's Burden & the Times refuses to report the truth. Bloomberg News has a word police program so you can't send emails with bad words - not in the book funny story but people told me the way to get around it was the re: and yet Bloomie uses the vulgar word for breasts...again wrong Purnick assumes this adds to his cache, the club got it wrong again most of all on election night.

  • I think I'll check that book out of the library for some light reading! Thanks!

  • Yes, there is a wait list but it is a fast read since a big part is an infomercial. If you do not know to question or be skeptical -- if you do not know that Steve Rattner's Quadrangle implicated in pensin scandal but only that he is Mike's money manager, big democrat fund raiser w/his wife -- and if you believed the phony pr that Rosen is a community organizer when in fact he is a developer -- building a hideous building the red square as he lives high above us all in Christadora "fast read"

  • Isn't our "wonderful" mayor involved in a lawsuit re Gloomberg LLP (you know the company he founded but denies that he still runs even though he is the majority shareholder & continues to make him untold billions as we speak)? Apparently, several women have sued over what they describe as a hostile work environment. We all know NYC is a closed shop for the rich and their servants masquerading as politicians. I really feel it in my bones -- a class war is coming. Suzannah you rock!

  • Thanks. Yes, even though Joyce Purnick appears to think Mike Bloomberg is brilliant and a great mayor she does expose the fact Bloomberg News has been accused of creating a hostile environment for women and it sounds like he was guilty of directly making an inappropriate comment to a pregnant employee. Class war, Boston Tea Party, I don't know but it seems like they act like a street gang but kid themselves they don't and it is all smoke & mirrors, illusion of democracy...

  • Another thought in response to your point about class war -- think about who Bloomberg makes city planner but the mega rich witch socialite Amanda Burden who helped push through eminent domain grabs all over NYC including eminent domain abuse of Manhattanville for Columbia U and more.

If Bloomberg wants to continue to fire the flames and hit us over the head with a mega rich socialite so awful she has been renamed "Amanda the people's BURDEN" than he needs to keep her in office.
