Ah, that's a shame. Well maybe we can convince Van Bebber to complete it?.. And get Lustig on board as well for a collaboration of the two: Mr. Robbie the chunkblower hehe.. I'm an idiot. But seriiously, both films would of turned out great from the looks of the promos.
Bill Lustig had nothing to do with Maniac 2: MR Robbie. Mr Robbie was directed by Buddy "Combat Shock" Giovinazzio and was a remake of an old film called "Psychopath". The Last Horror Film aka. Fanatic was a similarly Lustig-less attempt at a Maniac sequel.
I saw this at the same weekend of horros in LA --- IT was actually being written by Chas. Balun of Gore Zone and the book "9th and Hell St." he was a great writer never knew what happened to him though...
I first saw this trailer around '89 or '90 at the Fangoria's Weekend Of Horrors in L.A. One of the guys showing the trailer said they threw the road flare into the back seat that had been soaked with gas, the flames shot up over the back seat and actually caught the two actors hair on fire! Needless to say, they we're not happy! Too bad this was just a trailer (so I'm told), and was never made into a full length movie. Great clip! That's for posting it!

"Chunk Blower" was never completed. Kinda like "Maniac 2: Mr. Robbie"; this trailer/promo reel is the most we'll ever see.
