  • Too good. Makes my hair stand on end.

  • Saw them live on the Real Ramona tour in Newcastle Riverside in the UK and they were just incredible; the drummer in particular was just amazing like some kind of industrial machine . I think I had ringing in my ears for about a week after the gig. Brilliant

  • David's drums are like a fucking locomotive.

  • @Notecrusher yeah he is great....the whole band was like locomotive...massive talent...

  • Ladies & gentlemen......Fred Abong.......

  • @speedyspooley a really great bassist, although Leslie and Bernie are also great. You could really feel him on this and Ellen West.

  • Is it just me or did Tanya provide the inspiration and drive in every band she joined? Seems like Kristin and others really had Tanya to thank for the unique quality of the music.

  • @cheaptwangers

tonya does rock but i just finished reading kristins memoir called rat girl it sheds light on how the muses worked. i suggest checking it out.

  • @SantinaSings Could you please tells us the title of her autobiography, or publisher? thanks!

  • @vilepete

    It's called "Ratgirl"

  • The Real Ramona is just a great album. HIHH is one of the highlights.

  • 'i'm so bored and tired', me too, me too

  • HMV sucks, they don't stock Throwing Muses and the twat at the counter asked 'are they a new band?'

  • david's a beast

  • i'm so hooked

  • The Real Ramona... wow.

  • Haha how 'bout that viciously twanging riff Kristin imparts with from 4:54 on...deeply badass.

  • Comment removed

  • er... you mean Peer Gynt Morning Mood? LOL, "viciously twanging"

  • It's Tanya who plays that part, not Kristin -

  • Actually, I know I'm in a minority but I think it's Dave pushing through the drums and Fred on the Bass. It just makes the song felt rather than heard.

  • I think if i had to pick one and only one group to listen to ever again, it would be TM. 20 years of listening to them and I still get goosebumps. Killer.

  • totally agreed, 21 yrs for me ;).

  • Kristin is such a genius that sometimes its easy to overlook what a sonic contribution Tanya made to the Muses. She really shines here. What a combination they were!

  • Was that some Peer Gynt beginning at 4:56 ?

    Brilliant!

  • Kristin has always been my favorite Throwing Muse! Brilliant songs, stunning voice!

  • This song is just so ridiculously intense...and immense fun as well. What's amazing that it sounds almost as good here as on The Real Ramona; especially that HUGE pounding groove of the rhythm track -

  • WOW!!!

  • Effing awesome! Thanks for posting.

  • a great way to judge the structual integrity of a band is see them live.tight very tight.

  • Rough, strange, operatic.....ruined,,their first work product was a diamond inside the lions mouth

  • "and when you die, it's a shame, but your whole life's just the same"

  • Tanya Donelly, guitar hero!!!!Yes she is!!!!

  • The Song, really.

  • Hola, me gustan mucho las canciones de Kristin y Tanya.

Hey yellOwsky... wanna share these videos??... or where can i download them?? please help!!!

  • she's one of my idols.

  • Great early Kristen! Great performer! I like girls that rock!

  • ooh! I could dance to this all night long.

  • Thank you a thousand times for this, must be my favourite Throwing Muses track out of so many fantastic songs. The interplay between the guitars, Kristens unique voice and the wonderfully relentless drumming is superb.

  • Yeah i'd agree with that... people who love great, innovative songwriters will (or should) know Kristin's work.

I'd say the same of people like Lou Barlow, Billy Janovitz and Ken Andrews... underated and even unknown to many people, but all equally amazing in their own way.

But yeah, great vid anyway hehe

  • One of their best songs, very jagged, but so much feeling involved

  • Kristen is for sure one of the most underated artist on this planet..but aknowledged by people who know great music....
