  • Great playing man. Really enjoyed it :)

  • You're like,Frank Zappa crazy man.Good job.All emotion.Technique is good to have but emotion is always necessary and has to always be there.

  • @MrJohnnyDistortion Yo have defined Art -A technique (through an aesthetic medium) fueled, driven and conceptualized through emotion. The technical component may not be dismissed or reduced as it is the most important partner. Serious musicians are always practicing. The better technique, the better and clearer expression of the Artist's emotion. Without technique is like a car without fuel: You want to get there, you know where you want to go, but the car won't start and will not go.

  • I think your guitar was modified from p-90's to humbuckers.

  • @rw5791 The humbuckers look stock to me; but then I am no expert. I do like the way this guitar sounds.

  • @firscandier you're right,they are stock.The 72 sg had a pickguard like the early 60's models.

  • Well you started off very nice up to the 40 second mark, then ruined a good sound from then on, still very interesting to hear that DA5, mine is not sounding as good, maybe cos I'm using a Strat copy, anyhow thanks for putting up the SG and DA5.

  • I fine foray into madness my good man.

  • @leftyzappa As such, we're 'never really lonely in our excentrifigul force.'

  • where did you buy that sg model??

  • ! cool guitar man!

  • @MyLifeChanger Thanks. Its really a lot of fun to play

  • 1:00 -1:12

I Thought Hand was bout to fall off

    lol Great Playing!!

Reminding me that my Da5 Will Always Get The Job Done

Do u recall the settings u had for all that shredding?

  • @MrSoulSamCooke Thank you for the nice words. The setting I used was :"Crunch 2" with the gain set a little less than half, reverb and the tone between half and 3 quarters up. Most of the credit goes to the guitar; its just sounds and plays so exceptionaly; no wonder Holdsworth was so heartbroken when he had to sell his to pay for the recording of his IOU album.

  • @firscandier

Your welcome and thank u also for responding

Im glad You have such as nice Guitar!

Is it your most prized one?

  • @MrSoulSamCooke It's up there. My ES335 with the D'aquisto modified neck would have to hold the highest place.

  • @firscandier

oh so u like to play with a jazzy feel also huh,

    there both sick guitars

    thanks for sharing!

  • how do you summarize that apmplifier? distortion, good for ac/cd rolling stones playing?

  • @copech It is a wonderful sounding amp for its size- great practice amp-flexible enough to find any sound to meet any genre. It takes advantage of the technology of amp modeling that line 6 innovated.

Perfect for getting the different stones, sounds, AC/DC, Sabbath, Zeppelin, even Yes and Pink floyd. Someone even posted a video with this amp getting Slash's, from Guns and Roses sound.

  • @firscandier Ok! nice im waiting for the shipment of the DA5 i was looking for lots of videos in the net to make shure of it, is for playing in my bedroom so i need good tone but at low volume! Thank You for the answer mate! ;)
