@jimbo911fly The blast doesn't kill him, but depending on if you put the device on the wheel or compact it, he will appear in differen't ways. If you do what Desmond wants the mansion will explode and a few seconds later he will walk from the rubble and bitch about how his dogs are dead and take you to the little bunker in the house. If you do what Calvert wants, you find Desmond in the Light-House and hes pissed off at you but he offers you a second chance.

what system are you playing with? how do you get past level 20? Is this PC or console? Why do I find different gameplay for Fallout 3? I'm playing this game on PS3, does that make a difference?

I fucking hated Desmond in PL. I made a personal save file, just so I could blow his fucking head off so many times.

I think both of them are nuts, so its hard to side with either of them. Something is really fishy about Calvert, but Desmond is foul mouthed Jerk who seems bent on revenge. I know Calvert really isnt on the same side as that cult, he is just using them. To me, they both seem neutral, but leaning toward the bad side.

I had the same problem too. The only answer I can give is. Do not wait or do anything else just do it as soon as you get there like in the video. Cause i went and did other stuff and I couldn't do anything but reload.

rad per second means how much radiation he is being exposed to and the bar on the left is the health and on the right is your vats points
