  • Do you have a lake malwai peacock in there??

  • I love these guys. Clown Loaches and all types of Corydora are the cutest bottom feeders.

  • put ur finger in LOL

  • omg i love clown loaches, they're awesome, i have four of them with my cichlids. they are darn cute, one of them plays dead all the time. theres a video of my fish posted. How big is your tank? I have a 75 g

  • @InXCtinC Dont worry, once your loaches get used to their new environment they will come out.. Just make sure you don't have them in with overly aggressive fish, and it also help to have some kind of dither fish with them like tetras!! I have 4 clowns in a aggressive Sa cichlid tank with a red devil twice their size, and they come out and swim circles around him, almost like their taunting him!! LoL

  • @ptgb57pt "Greying out"? LoL, do your research fool, some clown loaches have that white tint to them depending on which region their from!! Some mature males also have a white tint!!

  • I grew my shoal of clown loaches in a year to about 4 inchs from babies. Before i got them i let an infestation of snails grow and when i put them in they went to town! they had eaten probably over 600 snails in 155 gallon. hahha

  • I love clownfish too (AKA) Geijo only 1 he costed $8 and you have like 25

  • I kept a shoal of them in the toilet, but they disappeared one day :( nah, just kidding - great looking clowns you have there mate.

  • i have one clow loach and its blind from one eye but i still like it

  • @jbird4850 That sucks. I had one that was totally deaf, but we taught him sign language. He's able to communicate his most basic of needs to us.

  • 0:33 Awwww BABY Clown Loach! LMAO!

  • uzar como fundo de tela

  • got 5 clown loaches for 3 days now and all they do is hide inside the cave. all five of them. i noticed that when theres noone near them they come out and swim. when i come near them they go back inside the cave. can anyone tell me whats going on?

  • They are VERY stressed. See them greying out? Do some research on your fish! It's not just the size of your tank, its the fact that these fish don't have enough spots to hide. They are Loaches, Bottom feeders. They need places on the BOTTOM to hide.

  • i like your clown loaches .. but they're stressed out .. they need places to hide some live plantss plenty of them even if u mix them with other community fish won't harm them .. like bala sharks they get along well with them.. increase decoration first

  • aww i cant wait to get me a few! they all look happy and healthy! :D

  • Gravel at least what u doing buddy? ur keeping them in a glass box for christ sake wake there living worth while.

  • I forgot, is it saltwater or freshwater ?

  • @nimimic78 fresh

  • Pretty!

  • they look fine :)

  • very very nice the fish look happy :)

  • bocja wspaniała power very good

  • nice tank man looks cool but do you think i could put like three clown loaches in a 75 gallon with an oscar?

  • I have one clown loach that does nit eat anything I got it 4 or 3 days ago n he didn't eat pellets wut should I get for my clown loach to eat please help.

  • people are dumbasses, in large groups, and being alone, clown loaches gain more confidence. If you were alone in the jungle you would want a hideout. if you were with 30 others then you wouldn't honestly give a shit. Fish learn too, if they realise they don't need to rake for their food, they will adapt, if they see NO threats, they will not hide, and if properly housed (yes 300 gallons is enough lol) then they will be big and healthy. Your all dumbasses. this man is taking wonderful care.

  • Love the loaches! They look happy even if some of us would rather see them have some more hidding spots. Very healthy looking group

  • You are all free to make comments and judge my fish keeping practice. I hardly think that all the loaches in a 300 gallon tank with a 180 gallon wetdry is overstocked... I keep fish for MY enjoyment and really don't care what ohers think! I have had these loaches for 3 years now and not lost one.

  • @xxblwn408 I agree fuck em

  • @xxblwn408 did you get them all at onvce or seperate

  • @xxblwn408 did you get them all at once or seperate

  • @xxblwn408 He didnt say that your tank is overstocked. He suggested that maybe having more hiding spots would be nice. Loaches do like to hide. They also like to play in the sand so a sandy bottom would also be nice. They are a nice bunch. I have 10 in my 120 gallon but eventually I want to upgrade to a 180 for them. My largest one is around 6" and I have a couple small ones at around 2" (my newest addition). My older - the 6" is about 6 or 7 years old.

  • @xxblwn408 That is if your overstocked comment was directed at ashleymorrissey101, because when you view the comments, it kind of looks like you're responding to him. Either way, its not overstocked. At least not yet. Maybe when they start hitting 9-10" or more than ya :) but that would take a very long time.

  • that tank is shit.. looks like a pet shop.. your a disgrace....

  • This looks like a pet store tank...

  • you should have some kind of substrate on the bottom and lots of large rocks for hiding places. I feel sorry for your clowns.

  • holy shit

  • I love that fish :) but there is to many in the tank.

  • you would be rich if u sold all that, they go for 100$ a piece here in canada

  • @ANfilms I buy my Clown's for $7.00 each at Fraser Aquarium in Vancouver not $100.00

  • @ANfilms They go for $10 a piece in Winnipeg and thats in Canada (@ 1-2") Never find ones that big here usually

  • Scheiß Tierquäler...bekomm dein Leben in den Griff und lass die Finger von den Sachen und Dingen die du nicht verstehst/kannst...kapiert?

  • how hardy are clown loaches compared to a guppy?

  • It just looks small because they are shoaled together so tightly. A 300 gallon is easily big enough for all these fish with the right filtration.

    Good video.

  • i hope that is store aquarium ,, there far too many in there and no hidy spots....

  • I used to have some a long time ago, they never grew to full size, I didn't realize that they got to be a ft long.

  • Isn't it unwise (in fact VERY unwise) to put 1 peacock, with around 70 clown loaches. So many eyeblades, so little (one , the peacock) target(S)

  • Way too many fish in there.

Why no substrate? They need it to forage & rake.

I'm guessing this is a pet shop as they're juveniles.

They get massive if properly cared for.

  • i got 2 today they are awesome

  • nice clown loaches, but this over populated tank seems to be from a petshop.

  • pets at home sold me an infected fish the tank it was from had white spot they say they have strict guide lines on selling fish but the clearly dont look after them in there own tanks

  • im guessing your from the uk? pets at home in cramlington have sold me 10 guppies, 15 tetra neons, 6 clown loach, 2 shrimp and all i have left are the shrimp one clown loach and 6 neons. they even sold me there reccommended white spot treatment, next time i went in i was told that isnt the cure its just a preventative and i had to buy something else instead. ive had to sit and watch as my fish have died off even though im doing everything i can.

  • @MegaPaintPie use the salt and heat treatment it works wonders

  • @Hill9008 ill keep that in mind if it happens again :D

  • just amazing

  • they are around 49 dollars when thier around 6 inch. thats the price if ur in nj. and that damn clicking pisses me off at night... i cant sleep

  • i get them for around $15!

pets stores overprice all their fish

best way is to get from other hobyists

  • Then don't keep them

  • are these 4 sale an how can i get them that size

  • Tank size fine for NOW - but clowns can live 20 years and grow to 13 - 14 inches EACH - so when they outgrow the tank what will you do? They really do need hiding places and soft sand substrate though for them to feel happy - Colour of CL shows what mood they are in - brighter the happier.

  • Not exactly true. 'graying out' some CL's do is a result of becoming the dominant loach

  • Thank you that's what i said and nobody believe me

  • why do clowns tend to loose thier colour as they grow?

  • yes... often the black becomes grey and the yellow isn't shiny anymore and has an dim effect

  • what other fish can you put with it

  • Just about anything that won't eat them. Oh, and no goldfish.

  • i like it!

    minted!

  • they make noisy sounds no?

  • not healthy over crowding they need 10 gallons per loach you need a much bigger tank at least 750 gallons min they are also not happy they are dull colored no gravel decor what an ugly tank just glass overcrowded with fish and a filter put some decor and gravel in they are gona die ass hole

  • you're a dipshit. Do some research before you spout bullshit.

  • holy shit

  • Comment removed

  • 300gal is plenty for now, nice & healthy looking clowns!! I would like to ask what the measurements are though? As if it has height rather than width or length you may have an issue with oxygen levels at the bottom of the tank. I can't help but agree with Somaloca though, a couple of bags of sand & a pipe or two to hide in would do them good.

  • my god there are some dumb people. 300gal is an awesome size, he could have much more in their., i quote " learn to spell 300g= 300grams? lol" if u use ur head and it was 300 grams that means 300 mililitres, yes he has those big loaches in a coke can son. , its pretty obvious he means 300gal.

  • i love clown loaches

  • how many gallons?

  • How much did they all cost?

  • I'm sure these fish would appreciate some fine gravel or sand on the bottom of the tank. They like to be able to hide as well so some plants and a turned over flower pot would probably make them happy

  • way to small they are going to die put them in a 800 gallon tank at the smallest

  • are you serious? Or are you just ignorant/total idiot?

  • These fish look great, but you can still tell they are not completely happy the colours should be far more vibrant, try giving them some places to hide.....

  • its called greying out they do it to sort dominance in the school

  • That tank is very small for all those fish or at least it looks that way

  • You mean to tell me a 300g is to small for a shoal of loaches?

  • lol

  • oh its totally to small you need like a million gallon tank; lol nice fish

  • yes way 2 small. learn how to spell gallon also.. 300g = 300grams? lmao

  • Yeah, I don't see how 300G is too small. They healthy to me!

  • these fish get very large, I would recommend a enormously large tank for these guys..

  • I would recommend you grow a brain...300 gallons is more than enough. CLs grow incredibly slow.

  • Exactly!! Thank you, RAmenFSM.

  • who cares what you think

  • @xxblwn408

yes a 300 gram tank would be too small ;)

  • @xxblwn408 yes a 300 gram tank is too small ;)

  • @xxblwn408 YES 300 IS WAY SMALL!!! BIGGER I SAY BIGGER!!!!! lol Clown Loaches are rad...I want some but biggest tank is a 55 :/

  • @jyackcon im prestty sure by the "humming" sound that it isnt a small tank, strog filter motors there.

  • @jyackcon

Yes, with 6 clown loaches in a 300 US gal, the tank is at a 65-70% stocking. so adding 4 more, the tank will be at 100% stocking. How many clown loaches do you have? More than 10 and you are over stocked.

    Nice fish and tank though

  • the one that looks dead was probably settled in on an algae patch, it did moove. i love the baby one in the back.

  • cute.Kinda hope this is a holding tank tho.

Adding gravel and more decor will make em feel more comfortable and such. Sand is fun, I love watching em dig through the sand =]

And when they're happier you'll see their black darken and a nice deep orange.

  • u need to add some decor to get the best out these fish

  • there probly at a pet store

  • and no gravel? pick up some nice fs sand such as pool filter sand (5$ for a 50lb bag)

  • well i did read that they like to be kept in groups

  • ur obsessed wit clown loaches arnt u :P

  • They look great mate. You should add some substrate to the bottom and some large pieces of bogwood at the back with plants. You'll see there true character come through mate.

  • all i got to say is damn haha there pretty big and healhy they must keep a tank clean haha kool loahes

  • How long does it take to reach full size?

  • A loooong time that's why their not too bad in a "smallish" tank.

  • send in the clowns :))

  • is it only clown loaches u have in the tank? nice heathly looking fish too

  • hey man your fish are stressed you need a habbittat for that many.a few plants gravel and rock piles

  • Yah, oooookay...

  • how many clowns are in ur tank? and how large is the tank?

  • I have (22)6-7", (1)7-8", and about (10) 3". As for tank size, they are in a 300g. 96x30x24.

  • i dont usually bother with commenting on peoples videos. but your clown loaches are amazing. are they all yours or did u take that video from an aquatic shop? x tb love richard x

  • Thanks for the comments. IThey are all mine, I got them from Infinite Aquatics a few months ago.
