I do see the US dollar most likely in late 2012 to late 2013 however, the Canadian economy and dollar is too strong so it no longer makes sense for Canada. Canada needs to move forward with a unilateral withdraw from NAFTA and NORAD. Canada can then use its Oil and Gas as well as massive supply of comities to leverage into the Asian and European economy.  I think the US has dug itself in too deep and Canada would shy away.
