  • I got lik 300 dollars and i never had djed before. Im 14 years old and at vest buy theres a thing for 200 but idk what im doing.. what should i doo?

  • Thanx dude this was really helpful, keep the vids coming

  • you are very correct on the virtual dj part. is junk, what do you recommend on the mixer and also what do you think about the pioneer Efx box? im looking forward to buy one. ?

  • what excactley is wrong with virtual dj? i use it and i find it perfectly ok

  • @ROBRECHTDGK

the wave forms are very off. Also, the sync button only makes the computer mix the music based on digital pulses - meaning they won't actually be beat matched, they will just follow the same pulse beats. BPM is very off on occasional tracks, interface is difficult, etc. I just didn't enjoy using VDJ when i had it. Its my personal preference though

  • What sort of speakers do you recommend?

  • @therobow09

i recommend powered speakers - that way you dont need to bring an external amp. I recommend something (that is cheap) Tapco Thumps. I use them for parties with around 100 or less people.

  • When it comes to getting speakers, what's something good to start out with and not spend loads of money on? Mainly for small parties, nothing too big.

  • How much money do I need bc I 1000 can it get what I need 4 now?

  • @DJABUZE1

yes, $1,000 can you get you good equipment with the proper investing

Remember, you need a mixer, either 2 CD players or turnables.

External equipment, such as speakers, facades, lights, etc are more expensive and will require at least another $500-$1,000

  • Thanks for the tip, It really has helped me out in decision making on what DJ equipment to start off with.

  • I am just starting out, but i have to agree with everything youve said in your video. The only reason i dont have serato or vinyl turntables is bc of my budget. I have decent equipment that will get me started, then im hoping by next year to save enough money to upgrade to vinyl. Im actually hoping to get serato way sooner than next year bc rite now i only have virtual dj & i agree with your opinion. Its better than some programs, but not as good as serato n its just not me. Ive seen serato in

  • Hey guys! here is an answer to the most frequently asked question since i posted this video!

    NUMARK MIXTRAK PRO

The numark mixtrack pro is a midi controller based piece of equipment. IT DOES NOT HOLD CDs!!! This is something that i am very conservative about. The mixtrack pro is a very small piece of equipment. It also is a midi controller for VDJ. I am not AGAINST buying it, however, i think that you would be better off purchasing CD players like i said in my video. But, again, all on you!

  • Anything made by Pioneer.

  • what do u think about the numark ns7fx?

  • @Djcos1000 go NS6

  • @DjRyBiz are the turntables motorized

  • @Djcos1000 nope, but i prefer them not to be. its really a preference thing, but ns6/ns7 same deal basically, just the ns6 is cheaper and in my opinion more durable

  • @DJDivine520 nothing on Ableton?

  • serato is the shit

  • how do i get a DJ name ? inbox me plzz

  • @DJABUZE1 You write the letters D and J before your name. As you've already done.

  • @DJABUZE1 you think of one

  • im try 2 become a dj i need more halp out n im thinking 2 go buy my DJ Equipment today meaning saturday so halp me out n how much money do i need bc i got 600 for right now

  • @DJABUZE1 unfortunately, 600 is not enough to go out and buy a whole rig.

  • For mixers, these companies are all great quality: Rane, Allen & Heath, Ecler

For turntables, the Stanton ST-150 or STR8-150 are also sick.

  • if your headed for clubs, cdj 800's are the way to go no matter what!!

  • :( I'm a beginner, I've used VDJ, it seems pretty newbie friendly, really easy to use. Should I try the others that you've mentioned? What do you think of Mixtrack Pro?

  • @asaily0

look for technics in craigslist i got some for $400 the mixtrack pro is good depends how far you want to go or how big your wallet is
