hey guys check out my channel ive been using virtual dj to make some mixes and i put them on youtube tell me wat u think of them and plz comment rate and subscribe
you are very correct on the virtual dj part. is junk, what do you recommend on the mixer and also what do you think about the pioneer Efx box? im looking forward to buy one. ?
the wave forms are very off. Also, the sync button only makes the computer mix the music based on digital pulses - meaning they won't actually be beat matched, they will just follow the same pulse beats. BPM is very off on occasional tracks, interface is difficult, etc. I just didn't enjoy using VDJ when i had it. Its my personal preference though
i recommend powered speakers - that way you dont need to bring an external amp. I recommend something (that is cheap) Tapco Thumps. I use them for parties with around 100 or less people.
When it comes to getting speakers, what's something good to start out with and not spend loads of money on? Mainly for small parties, nothing too big.
I am just starting out, but i have to agree with everything youve said in your video. The only reason i dont have serato or vinyl turntables is bc of my budget. I have decent equipment that will get me started, then im hoping by next year to save enough money to upgrade to vinyl. Im actually hoping to get serato way sooner than next year bc rite now i only have virtual dj & i agree with your opinion. Its better than some programs, but not as good as serato n its just not me. Ive seen serato in
Hey guys! here is an answer to the most frequently asked question since i posted this video!
NUMARK MIXTRAK PRO
The numark mixtrack pro is a midi controller based piece of equipment. IT DOES NOT HOLD CDs!!! This is something that i am very conservative about. The mixtrack pro is a very small piece of equipment. It also is a midi controller for VDJ. I am not AGAINST buying it, however, i think that you would be better off purchasing CD players like i said in my video. But, again, all on you!
@Djcos1000 nope, but i prefer them not to be. its really a preference thing, but ns6/ns7 same deal basically, just the ns6 is cheaper and in my opinion more durable
im try 2 become a dj i need more halp out n im thinking 2 go buy my DJ Equipment today meaning saturday so halp me out n how much money do i need bc i got 600 for right now
:( I'm a beginner, I've used VDJ, it seems pretty newbie friendly, really easy to use. Should I try the others that you've mentioned? What do you think of Mixtrack Pro?

How much money do I need bc I 1000 can it get what I need 4 now?
DJABUZE1 2 months ago
@DJABUZE1
yes, $1,000 can you get you good equipment with the proper investing
Remember, you need a mixer, either 2 CD players or turnables.
External equipment, such as speakers, facades, lights, etc are more expensive and will require at least another $500-$1,000

@DJABUZE1 unfortunately, 600 is not enough to go out and buy a whole rig.

For mixers, these companies are all great quality: Rane, Allen & Heath, Ecler
For turntables, the Stanton ST-150 or STR8-150 are also sick.
