  • Why don't you have that guitar anymore?

  • @bloucou I sold it to buy a Larrivée! Then I sold the Larrivée to buy a custom-made guitar by lan Chisholm. If I had the money, I'd have kept them all - unfortunately I'm a musician... :-)

  • Really nice tone to that guitar. What wood are the back and sides made of?

  • @jhankri I don't have the guitar any more, but the wood was probably a rosewood from Indonesia. :-)

  • Outstanding picking! Thanks for posting..

  • bravo eccezionale ciao da luciano conza italia

  • very elegant! What different sound you get when picking it up electrically rather than through the air!

  • Very nicely played!...

It's a pleasure to hear this music!... *****

    Cheers,

    luca

  • how do u get that kind of sound??

  • The melody lines and finger picking are the product of many, many years playing... As far as the recorded sound goes, you can see my setup if you go to my website - URL is in the "info" column - above right. :-)

  • nice sounding guitar and played lovely have just got atw73 porlor if ever you get the chance try one

  • great tune.. great rendition!

  • Hi,

    Nice Play:D

I was thinking of a 12 string (TanglewoodTW145/12-SC), what do you think about this model?

    Thanks,

    David

  • I haven't seen or tried one personally but, if the electro-acoustic guitar and bass guitar I have are anything to go by, it'll be great value for money and extremely well made. Try it - if it suits you, then reach for your wallet! :-) Will

  • Well done, Will. Cheers!

  • ive had a tw 15n for a few years and it sounds great, especialy with elixir mediums

  • i want this tab.. some on who have it? Pm me pliz

  • Hi, how about posting another video this time unplugged, so i can hear the true tone of ur guitar, coz im planning to buy one.tnx

  • No problem - I sometimes use a Sony Minidisc recorder to capture the acoustic tone. However - take my word for it - the natural, acoustic tone of the Tanglewood is really good. Mine cost (at the time) just less than £400, and I'm really impressed with the quality. :-)

  • Very Nice DFD

  • It's a great electro-acoustic guitar and can be wound up through an amp without too much feedback. However, for real control of tone, I suspect an electric solid is probably a better bet... :-) Will

  • Nice pickin ...are you in open c???

  • I GOT THAT GUITAR JUST TODAY :D!!!

  • I have the same guitar! I love my Tanglewood acoustic

  • What happened to the audio in the middle of this? I really like the tune and how you played it. I just wish the audio would not mar it. It's a tragedy!

  • Can't help you here - the video was fine when I posted it! Perhaps there's been a problem with the YT server...

  • Great number MJH one of my favourites.

  • Brilliant ,do you know where I can get hold of the tab?

  • I never use tab so I can't be of much help, I'm afraid. I'd just have a trawl using Goole and see what you can find.

  • It was brilliant, where can I get the tab?YOU REALLY CAN PICK !

  • This is a Tanglewood Sundance, but I also play a Martin XC1T on some of the other videos. They're both nice beasts!

  • great version very nicely played

  • Clean is the operative word...Well-picked, sir!

Also, your guitar delivers a very mellow, very rich tone.

  • you have a very clean and relaxed style. I loved this one!

  • Even better than Stefan Grossman's version !
