@Canon39 Yes they are street legal emissions wise, however I believe you could technically receive a noise violation in California as the max dB allowed is approx. 91 which this car practically reaches with stock exhaust

The ford racing website says that the stingers (M-5230-5GT) are 49 state legal (California is the loner illegal state). The FRPP GTA mufflers (M-5230-GTA) are 50 state legal.

what is the difference between the FRPP Stingers that you have here and the Steeda Axle back??

The Steeda (170-STEEDA-1) and the FRPP (FMS-M-5230-5GT) are one in the same with the only difference being the logo embossed on the tip.

The Stingers are going to be louder than the GTA's. The difference is the muffler that is on them.

Yoo. When else can you see blue smoke? A guy following me one time said he saw a puff when i put my foot down ot accelerate away from him. It was a damp day. Engine was warm.

Refer to time index 00:35. That is definitely blue smoke (engine oil being burned up). The stuff after that is steam.

It looks like your car is puffing out some blue smoke right after startup... might want to get that checked out.

Cold Start

I'm talking about the initial puff of smoke right after the engine starts. The smoke after that is normal steam in a cold start. The blue smoke, however, is not normal.

Check out time index 00:35. That's blue smoke, a sign the valve steam seals or valve guides are worn out. It was a somewhat common problem with early 4.6L 4V marauders and is reported here and there with the S197 GTs.

I got my exhaust a while back for a little over $350 and it has gone up quite a bit since then. Do a search for FRPP Borla Stingers and you should find them somewhere just under $400.

Right now all I have performance wise is

-Stingers

-Short Throw Shifter

-CAI/SCT Tuner tuned by Brent at Brenspeed

They are the FRPP Type S mufflers, which are Ford Racings identical version of the Borla Stinger.
