@bldyvampkisses you have to push them out, at least in back to nature, and in b.t.n you could also get a bell for the animals to follow. idk if there is one in this game or not...

@bldyvampkisses and it never helped me that much, maybe the animal's hearts have to be close to or maxed out for it to have a greater effect upon them, just speculation. I just stop allowing my animals to go out and that solved the problem for me.

@likeitornot78: I believe the tablecloth is a raffle prize and the cow clock is something you can redeem your medals for (the medals you win for betting on horse/dog races). For golden milk, your cow has to win the cow festival.

after playing a little bit of this game it made me appreciate BTN more. The one thing I hated was the rucksack system. You have to open your menu to pull items out of your rucksack, very tedious! And you can't improve it's space. But in BTN they fixed that (: 64 was still addicting though.

I've come to the conclusion that I prefer Back to Nature, BUT it's only due to not having to push start to manage your inventory. Everything else in HM: 64 is beautiful though, particularly the music which I think trumps Back to Nature's.

I have this for my N64. But for some reason, it never ended. I married and had a child, and I have the highest amount of money you can get. (Like 999,999,999 or 999,999). if you dont own a n64 or the best harvest moon of dem all. you can play this for free by downloading project 64 emulator then the rom=harvest moon.and play it for free on pc :) and if u dont got a pc controller u can play wit ps3 or xbox 360 usb controller or if u want to play with n64 controller then u buy online the adapter to plug into pc cost like 10 bucks only

There's a path to the ocean near the ranch. Look at the 7:53 mark in this video.
