  • what a raga chosen.......

  • are there any similar vidios...????

  • nice one ....we expect more of this kind....

  • I also believe Hinduism is good for the brain and successful thinking process. Reason. Accepting and looking at multiple perspectives is one key aspect of intelligence. Where else could one find multiple perspectives in its completion - art, music, entertainment, education, addressing aspirations, spirituality, science...etc.

  • Very beautiful and inspiring videos you have uploaded. The world itself is waking to Hinduism now, especially in the west because it is probably the very few religions that addresses spiritual needs of an Individual (rather than a groups), un-dogmatic approach, freedom, capable of evolving, gender equality, non-violence, deeply rooted in humanitarian beliefs..etc.

  • great video!! superb!! proud to be a hindu and a vegetarian.god bless u!!

  • This a very beautiful and ear soothing video for all those who keep faith and respect towards perpetual Hindu Religion and those who feel proud to have born in this earth as a Hindu. My salutaions to Goddess Annapurna and heart felt respect to the group who have sang this beautiful stotram.

  • heart touching and traditional video. Really really really every hindu must keep this video, and motivate children

  • Yes! This is the power of Maha Bharat! Jay jay Maha Deva!

  • I thank you..

  • GO VEG!!!

  • SALUTATIONS TO THE SUPREME GODDESS PARVATI

  • this is not the way to pray the godess for food, what is the meaning of bhiksham dehi, Dont do this for the publicity. you are not going to any war, what is that background music is all about.

  • @meene

The essence of Hinduism is you can worship the way you want to worship. If this does not work for you then perhaps you can chant the sholka itself sans the music or do what ever else is appropriate per your standard of worship. Peace and happiness to you.

  • Beautiful, I never knew Adi shankara was also a great poet. This composition gives a glimpse of his great mind.

  • So strong! I need to download the album.

  • One way to offer worship is via contribution at foodforeducation (dot) o r g

  • With green background and the people who toil to produce food is very beautiful.

    Nanda kishor...Dubai

  • @3kichu, Thanks Nanda Kishor ji.

  • Eating meat 3 times a day is justified only in places where no vegetation grows. Meat as staple diet in any other place is nothing more than an addiction and people come up with all kinds of funny reasons to support their weakness and argue to no ends to keep their addiction going.

  • I was born & raised in France with no particular link to India.

I always have been more than interested in asiatic cultures.

I also was introduced to Indian traditions through the psychedelic goa trance movement of the early 90's.

I am used to hear Indian harmonies, musicality, instruments etc...

But I must say this chant is incredibly powerful & beautiful.

.. and about vegetarian food, any aware person should know that eating dead animals is toxic & prevent spiritual evolution ...

  • Hi Thanks for this nice video n hearing the stotram was a total bliss., Cld u plz possibly let me knowthe name of this album or who r the singers? Also is there anyway i cld download this from ur site..?Thanks Chitra

  • Poignant!! I'm not Hindu or vegetarian but I can not argue with this...

  • Who are the artists singing this?

  • Uma Mohan, Gayathri Devi

  • Very beautiful & very powerful... please tell me how to download this song...

  • really like the intro

  • Kripa, devi!

  • gratitude!

  • Thanks for uploading this song. It reminds me of my childhood days. We have to show gratitude for the food , water and the air we breath. We take it for granted. This prayer reminds us that without food one cannot survive. SO beautiful!!! I love this prayer.

    Thanks

  • You are most welcome. I agree with your comment. Thanks for watching.

  • JAI JAI PARVATI MATA

  • wonderful...

  • Excellent...

  • When this mantra should be chanted? Before every meals?

  • Yes, this should be recited before every meals. its kind of expressing gratitude to Maa Annapoorna for providing meals.

  • Blimey! By the time I finish reciting this stotram, my meal will be cold.

  • Well, You can start before the meals in a way to finish stotram by the time you are ready to eat. Usually it takes few minutes to arrange the food and serve. This time can be utilized.

  • Comment removed

  • he said:

This is the Sanskrit language of India. This is a prayer to the goddess of food.

  • Fantastic!

    Thank You.
