it is written in the book that ruth and idgie are lovers, but in the film it is not clear that they have a loving relationchip. but ih like both versions very much.

and by the way i think that the actors in the film are awesome, espacially mary stuart masterson and mary louise parker!

yeah, she was in the movie (not my video though). she had a cameo as the marriage counselor lecture person. but she also wrote the book on which the movie was based and she helped adapt her work for the screen.
