you play this song amazingly good, keep it up good taste in music . its amazing how the cure touches peoples hearts . i remember my brothers listening to cure when i was around four, am 24 now and every time i listen to it  ... its almost like it takes me back in time. The cure all the way!!!!!!

All the songs that you do with the original artist's volume too loud, such as this one, among others, do them over. We want to hear you dominating the sound so we can really hear distinctly you and not the original artist. Look at my channel, I practice what I preach, that is the construct people prefer with covers, otherwise you're leaning way too much on the original artist.

It's a valid point you make. I'm guilty of what you describe, but you have to weigh it up against having something that people want to listen to all the way through. Electric guitar sounds great when it sits in the mix, if it's too prominent the whole thing becomes a bit dull and only interesting to guitar players, rather than fans of the artist. Ideally we'd be able to completely remove the original guitar from the recording.

Umm, I think I used a bit of chorus, and I also used a compressor. It is all built into my old Boss BE-5M multi-effects pedal.
