The tuner is very good, but the metronome is awful. It has no volume control, much less output for headphones. The "clicks" are very low volume. Hard to hear them For the first time the Boss let me down ..
Hi ! Amateur tunist here ! I have the excact one as you!Does it automatically pick up which string you are playing? E.g i was playing C,would it know automatically or do i have to set it up just for C ? Thankyou!:)
@Dreamer23245 ...oh yeah, i've skipped that part. Basically the number 440 hz is a reference pitch which you could change to something else .. example 435 hz, 446 hz... Most of the time, we leave it as 440 hz as it's the common ones most instrument used to get a standard pitch for tuning.
@Mishu3210 Straight-up, it's not user friendly to perform none standard guitar tuning. But you still can get around tuning in drop C by switch the tuner to the chromatic mode.
@rafez89 That's actually another setting to which allows you to configure your digital tuner to tune your guitar 1 to 5 semitone down from the standard tuning. I've make another video clip to further explain that function, you can check it out in my channel with video title: How to down tune your guitar a semitone
@rafez89 Hi rafez89. Could you elaborate more on your question ? If you could indicate which part of the clip (example: is it on the 7:34 min or 5:17min...) your question is coming from, that will be helpful for me to accurately answer your question :)
@rafez89 Hi rafez89 ! Yes this tuner can be used on an acoustic guitar. On top of that as far as i know, it also could be used on electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, violin, harp.
can you plz explain, the chromatic tuner? i struggel to get my eletric guitar a half step down, i dont understand this E4, next D4#, etc. please help me out. thank you
@tmib92 Hi tmib92, i'm assuming you are using the same mode of tuner i was using. I've posted another video up in my channel with title "How to down tune your guitar." ( Sorry i can't post the hyperlink here in the comments, youtube does not seem to accept that at the moment).
Anyway, for your second question, if you are using the chromatic tuner, the letter represents the key the guitar string is in at the moment, and the number represents the octave it is in.

I think rafez89 means why are the flat signs dancing around on the to left
3 flats to to etc !!!
Franquay 1 year ago
@Franquay the signs are to tune the guitar half step or whole step. one flat sign means half step down and two means obviously whole step down.

It begins around 6:01 and is continuous from there. Upper left side of the display, next to where it tells you the string you're playing.

@tmib92 .. For example, E4 means the string is currently in the key of E which is at the 4th octave.
Another example, D#4, means the string is currently in the key of D# which is at the 4th octave.
Hope this clears things up for you :)
