  • Thanks, I'm glad you like my steps. I got bored with all the usual stuff aso I started making up new stuff.

  • I forgot to mention I also like challenges and since I am in a class with kids younger than I am, I like to explore and be adventurous with steps. This is when I came across yours and they are unique and I thank you for breaking them down and expanding my knowledge of tap!

  • wow....this is actually quite interesting! Where do you come up with all these interesting tap steps i have never ever heard of before? I have been doing tap since i was 4 and I am the most advanced in my class as I am the only senior left! I am going to show this step and many others of yours to my teacher tonight and see what she says so I can incorporate them into my solo this year! love the sounds. I also love the teeler tap step!

  • uh, buddy, you got kinda gangsta at the end. LOL! das da FALUFFALO! all that was missing was a YO! LOL good job as always. i hope you don't mind me stealing this step. i never saw it before. at least i never saw it broken down like this before.

  • @RegisPhilbinFan :) I filmed for 6 hours straight that day so I got a little slap happy. Of course you can steal - that's why I put them up there (part of the tap tradition) - got to spread around new steps as much as possible.

  • I don't understand. How do you come up with this stuff? Any extra tips on how to get this move down?

  • I get bored doing the same steps over and over. new steps keep things fresh and challenging. A lot of them I build sound by sound. I try to follow one or more of the sounds with something different...for instance you almost never follow a shuffle (not shuffle step)on the left with a flap on the right. To get this one, practice doing a flap from a jump. jump up form both feet and only allow one foot to flap down. Then do it starting from one foot. after that put it all together.
