Have you gotten the Jot Pressure sensitive pen to use with this or interested in the JaJa now of Kickstarter? I really want to use an IPad for art instead of Wacom and have been researching everything I can. A pressure sensitive pen will revolutionize the industry.
Hi, I'm looking at a papersketch replacement: I am wondering about a touch screen display with a pen with pressure sensibility to connect to my PC/mac and operate with photoshop like a pressure tablet... does anything like this exist?
I saw your other reviews for the Dagi and the Griffin styluses saying that the Griffin is better than the Dagi, but would you say that this is better than the Griffin?
Hi, I just brought the Motorola Xoom tablet. I got it for sketching, drawing and so on. What stylus would you reccomend for sketching? Iv looked at the Griffin and this Bamboo.. but im not 100% sure what one would be better :P
I havent tried drawing on the ipad (with or without the stylus) and I am considering to buy a wacom bamboo (179€ for me) but I wonder, how different is it from wacom bamboo to ipad? Maybe it is better for me to add 300€ and get a ipad 2 instead?
Do you know of any stylus that has pressure sensitivity and does not deteriorate easily? I have the intuous4 tablet and the stylus that came with it flakes away very quickly
@2plus2equalswhat I actually have the wacom BAMBOO Pen Tablet and the stylus works really well. I'v had it for almost a year and the tip hasn't seem to flake away or get damaged in any way and i tend to press down pretty hard at times. My friend also has the touch version and the stylus that it came with, from what i could tell by using it, is pretty similar to mine. And i haven't heard her complain about flaking. So i would suggest at least looking into it, wacom seems to make good products.
Awesome video mate :) What about using it with a Belkin's MatteScreen(tm) overlay, on iPad 2; I want it more for writing down notes rather than sketching :) Thanks in advance :)
hi you are great artist i was thinking get an pen tablet wacom intuos 4 it looks great but you are using another app would you tell me which one is???
and it works great and would i import one draw made into that app you are using to edit into photoshop??? so basically im asking ipad would be better or wacom intuos 4??? im a begginer and im looking for orientation maybe you can help me thanks in advanced .....and sorry for my english im from Peru we talk in spanish :P byee!!!
@binfilth unfortunately, without using the iPad, she couldn't accurately review the iPad stylus. I agree that the bamboo tablet and stylus are great for drawing, but the iPad stylus will not work on them.
Hi, nice video, there are few stylus review that are worth watching and I really like yours. Ones question tho, if u don't mind. Is it worth it to pay the 30$ for the bamboo stylus instead of the 11 bucks that cost the griffin? do you see much diference? what are the main ones? Thx!!
@PsycoEnigma20 not possible at the moment as it needs a certain size for the screen to detect the input. If you want pointier go after a tablet pc with full wacom or a tablet pc with ntrig.
So you think it's the BEST so far? I have the griffin and I don't like pressing that hard to sketch, it's fine but if this is better, I'd get that. How much better is this one?
lol i know one thing. i would HATE for it to double my sides. sure its a good way to make a perfect image but i make animal scruff hair at the top like side bangs and it would look sooo weird,
There's also a new "2nd generation" stylus out now by Acase and a few other companies. It has a similar tip shape and size to this one, but otherwise looks like a slightly thinner and longer version of the Boxwave/Griffin/Targus stylus. I got one after my Boxwave rubber tip broke after almost a year's use. Works just as well as the Boxwave style stylus if not better.
Can you use the targus on a kindle fire?

You can use any glove. Just get an old wool glove from a cheap shop and cut the tips off so you can grab a hold of the pen. :)

RaeLynnShikure 5 months ago
you probably should have used a Wacom tablet for drawing or
have one, whether single or multi touch. I own a bamboo pen &
touch and if you know the wacom products should know that their pens
are fantastic! see the work done with the cintiq series.
Despite using a wacom drawing with the iPad I would really
write. How did you feel writing with this pen? lines are
bad? difficult to make a good handwriting? Of course that relies heavily on
program, but in general what it felt like about writing.
