i went on this last year and my harness opened up at the top and i fell 200 feet and hit my head on the concrete. luckily i wasn't hurt but it just goes to show you how dangerous this ride is

@bdiggity3 No No No No...No. This ride isn't a NEAR as intense as Kraken, Dueling Dragons, Hulk, etc. I don't really think its intense at all besides the ONE loop and 3 simple-slow barrel rolls.

This ride is still fun though. Its like a family coaster, you know. Its not like one of those coasters that only teenagers could handle. Soo, you should go on it.

I love this ride. Me and my friend went to seaworld yesterday and rode it straight 18 times with no line. And it was weird because it was 1:00 and still no line. And last weekend we went to seaworld once again their was no line for Manta, Kraken, WildArtic, and Journey To Atlantis. Wow seaworld isn' t busy ever is it??

How does this coaster compare to Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain? Manta appears to be much tamer. The last element of Tatsu is a forward dive roll down the side of the mountain, after which the train lands in the station. I mean, please.

the only similiarity i can spot is the initial drop (the way it turns 90 degrees to the right) and the first "pretzel loop" how it is immediately after.

Then it is entirely different after that. I like how it has more twists!!! If I lived in FL or could go to Sea World, I would have to ride this...

Actually, it is a very good representation of hat Manta looks like. I live in Orlando and I go to Sea World atleast once every month so I do know what the track layout is really like. Go to my page and type Sky Tower at Sea World Orlando 2009 and you'll get a great arial view of Manta from inside the Sky Tower capsule as it ascends and decends the tower.

WOW!! So Orlando is working on building two new coasters. Manta @ SeaWorld and Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit @ Universal Studios. I'm going to Orlando this spring. I can't wait to ride these two new coasters. So far my favorite coaster still remains Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Studios but maybe these two new coasters will change my mind.

actually they got done with the track so fast the bumped it up to Spring instead of Summer so they say between March and April, they just have to get the tanks and Rays in the pool.
