For crying out loud..it's POULTRY!!! you guys can eat chicken, duck, turkey, quails, etc...this is no different...it's just that it's in its younger stage. Also, the yellow is just egg yolk and the white is just egg white..so it's just like a tiny poultry inside a regular egg.

That's not how you eat balut. You take out the hard white part and eat everything without dissecting it to pieces. Coke is good with balut, and beer as well. Balut is nothing. Try eating bayawak (something like komodo dragon's smaller brother), put soy sauce and vinegar. It tastes like chicken and beef. It's heavenly.If you want to enjoy balut, eat it with palitaw (something like fried mochi) and drown yourself with sugar and shredded coconut meat. and caramel.

You're supposed to sip the juice first. Remove the hard part thats like a stone. Sprinkle some salt on top of the remaining part then chew, crunch and swallow.
