  • What album is this from? Thanks.

  • Jimmy Smith, Kenny Burrell, Lou Donaldson and Art Blakey. I would love to hear the other takes of this.

  • Thats Lou Donaldson on alto...PAPA LOU

  • This is a classic. A perfect 12 Bar Blues Improv example. I forgot who is playing the Alto Solo but Kenny Burrell and the Sax solo are superb Improv artistry at its greatest. And, I do believe that Art Blakey is on Drums. Sheer Genius on every instrument, not to mention Jimmy on the Hammond organ. If one wants to learn how to play the 12-bar blues changes, study this song. Bravo for posting this.

  • HerbertDennart! Who are the orthers in the orcherstra ?

  • Just incomparaple. An increasing lovely start. The comp, must be Art Blakey, (?) hanging on all the way! Got lost in a happy all day long... I love it wihout end!
