  • Is there any web site I can learn how to modernize old record players?

  • this has helped me alot! :-) how do i make the new cartage and stylus fitt the head of the arm? what is the name of the cartige you are using?

  • It is fitted with a modern but inexpensive magnetic cartridge and stylus. It has also been rewired for stereo (a relatively easy procedure. Make sure your new amp has "Phono" inputs. Otherwise you will get very little aplification. If no phono inputs, you need to purchase a separate pre-amp. Hope this helps.

  • Hey I have one of those and i bogght a new amplifier, but it dues not make any good sound. have you changed something on the record player. modernized it? if how? help would be very much apresiatet:-)

  • like the garrard turntable thought about getting a couple of them to spin my 45 on are stylus easy to get for those.

  • @musicman257 This one has been rewired for stereo with a modern but inexpensive cartridge. The original cartridges for these are mono and very hard to come by. The Garrard I have mounted in one of my consoles (see video) is identical but with the original cartridge. Thanks for your comment.

  • Beautiful turntable Garrard produces great sound and very reliable.
