Listening to this, is anyone else reminded of Gluttony Fang, Hazama'a theme in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift? It would be immensely appropriate, as both Marisa and Hazama are world class trolls.

@xrandomguy1993x Trust me. I looked up the conversation between the two on on Touhou Wiki and before they fight Marisa says "I'll just fire off my lasers

that won't kill you if you touch them." And once Cirno wins she says "Well, I really did go easy on you, y'know.

With the non-deadly lasers." And after that she even says to herself "Even with my most powerful laser,

she could be trouble..."

Cirno's stupid. It's highly doubtful that Marisa actually used "Final Spark" on her...she might have only used a really small laser and Cirno saw it as "Final Spark." Keep in mind the game is from Cirno's perspective, so the attacks seem more daunting than they actually are.

@shunkwugga It's a laser of the size of Final Spark, but it doesn't hurt. It's a flashlight final spark.

That Final Spark being called 'Master Spark-like Flashlight' should be a pretty clear sign that she is holding back. As does 'Shoot the Little Moon' or her testing a card that's still in development.

Well, actually, even if you win it's Cirno that gets all beaten up. Marisa does go 'This is kinda nuts.' towards the end, but Cirno pretty much asks her to stop fighting before the last spell card. And afterwards, it's Cirno that has the same sprite she has when losing agianst any other boss in the game.

@Magni56 Of course, this IS Marisa Kirisame. You know, the overpowered mage with lasers of doom fighting a stage two boss. This was not even supposed to be a battle.

And I still am a partisan of the theory that Cirno could be absurdly hax if she was to fight outside of danmaku. Of course, same goes for most people in Gensokyo.
